The oracle of the word of Yahweh over Israel, the utterance of Yahweh, who stretched out the skies and founded the land and formed the breath of the man in his midst.
Behold, I put Jerusalem a basin of the reeling to all the peoples round about, and also over Judah it will be in the siege over Jerusalem.
And it will happen in that day, I will put Jerusalem a stone of the heavy to all the peoples; all those who carry it surely will cut themselves in pieces, and all the nations of the land will gather over it.
In that day, the utterance of Yahweh, I will strike all the horses in the confusion and his rider in the madness; and over the house of Judah I will open my eyes, and all the horses of the peoples I will strike in the blind.
And the chiefs of Judah will say in their heart, Strength to me are those who dwelled Jerusalem in Yahweh of hosts their God.
In that day I will put the chiefs of Judah as a laver of the fire in the woods and as a torch of the fire in the sheaves, and they will eat over the right and over the left all the peoples round about; and Jerusalem will dwell again under it, in Jerusalem.
And Yahweh will save the tents of Judah in the first, for the sake of the splendor of the house of David not becoming great, and the splendor of those who dwelled Jerusalem, over Judah.
In that day Yahweh will defend behind those who dwelled Jerusalem, and he that stumbles among them in that day will be as David, and the house of David as God, as the messenger of Yahweh to their face.
And it will happen in that day, I will search to wipe all the nations those who come over Jerusalem.
And I will pour over the house of David and over those who dwelled Jerusalem the spirit of the favor and pleas, and they will look to me which they struck through, and they will mourn over it as the lament over the firstborn, the only child, and they will show bitterness over it as one shows bitterness.
In that day the lament in Jerusalem will become great, as the lament of Hadad-Rimmon in the valley of Megiddo.
And the land will mourn, the families to the alone: the family of the house of David to the alone, and their wives to the alone; the family of the house of Nathan to the alone, and their wives to the alone;
the family of the house of Levi to the alone, and their wives to the alone; the family of the Shimeite to the alone, and their wives to the alone;
all the families, those who leave, families to the alone, and their wives to the alone.
