¹And after this thing I saw four messengers standing upon the four corners of the land, holding the four winds of the land, so that no wind may blow on the land nor on the sea nor on all tree.

²And I saw another messenger ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of God the living; and he cried in a loud voice to the four messengers to whom it had been given to harm the land and the sea,

³saying: May you not harm the land nor the sea nor the trees, until when we may have sealed the slaves of our God on their foreheads.

⁴And I heard the number of those sealed: one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel.

⁵Out of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand sealed; out of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand sealed; out of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand sealed;

⁶out of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand sealed; out of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand sealed; out of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand sealed;

⁷out of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand sealed; out of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand sealed; out of the tribe of Isaachar twelve thousand sealed;

⁸out of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand sealed; out of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand sealed; out of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand sealed.

⁹After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one was able to number, out of every nation and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, having clothed themselves with white robes and palm branches in their hands.

¹⁰And they were crying out in a loud voice, saying: the Salvation to our God, to the One who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!

¹¹And all the messengers had stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell before the throne upon their faces and worshiped God,

¹²saying: Amen! the Blessing and the glory and the wisdom and the thanksgiving and the honor and the power and the strength to our God, forever and ever! Amen.

¹³And one of the elders answered, saying to me: These ones having clothed themselves with the white robes, who are they, and from where have they come?

¹⁴And I have said to him: My lord, you yourself know. And he said to me: These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white robes in the blood of the Lamb.

¹⁵Because of this they are before the throne of God and serve Him by day and night in his temple, and the One who sits on the throne will tabernacle over them.

¹⁶They will not hunger any more, neither will they thirst anymore, nor may the sun fall upon them, nor any scorching heat,

¹⁷because the Lamb in the center of the throne will shepherd them, and He will lead them to fountains of waters of life, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
