1After these things I looked, and behold, a door opened in the heaven, and the first voice that I heard, like a trumpet, was speaking with me, saying: Come up here, and I will show to you what it behooves to take place after these things.
2And immediately I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne was set in the heaven, and upon the throne One sitting.
3And the One sitting was like in appearance jasper stone and sardius, and a rainbow was around the throne, like in appearance an emerald.
4And around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw the twenty-four elders sitting, having clothed themselves in white garments, and on their heads they had golden wreaths.
5And out of the throne come flashes of lightning and voices and thunderings, and there were seven lamps of fire burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6And before the throne was something like a sea of glass, like crystal, and in the midst of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures, being full of eyes in front and behind.
7And the first living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature like a calf, and the third living creature, he is having the face as of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle flying.
8And the four living creatures, one for their one, he having respectively six wings around and within, full of eyes, and rest they have not by day and night, saying: Holy, Holy, Lord God the Almighty, who was being and who is being and who is coming.
9And whenever the living creatures will give glory and honor and thanksgiving to the One who sits upon the throne, who is living forever and ever,
10the twenty-four elders will fall before the One who sits upon the throne, and they will worship the One who lives forever and ever, and they will cast their wreaths before the throne, saying:
11Worthy are You, our Lord and God, the Holy One, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; for You yourself created the all things, and because of your will they were existing and were created.
