Revelation21

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea is not any longer.

And I myself, John, saw the holy city Jerusalem new, coming down out of the heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice from the throne, saying: Behold the tabernacle of God is with the men, and He will tabernacle with them, and they themselves will be his peoples, and God Himself will be with them as their God.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and the death will not be any longer, nor mourning nor crying nor pain will be any longer; because the former things have passed away.

And the One sitting on the throne said: Behold, I make all things new. And He says to me: write this, because these words are faithful and true.

And He said to me: It has been done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I myself to the one thirsting will give of the spring of the water of life freely.

The one who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be God to him, and he himself will be My son.

But to the cowardly and to the untrusting and to sinners and to those having made themselves abominable and to murderers and to the sexually immoral and to sorcerers and to idolaters and to all the liars, their portion is in the lake which is burning with fire and with brimstone, which is the second death.

And there came to me one of the seven messengers who are having the seven bowls which are being full of the seven last plagues, and spoke with me, saying: Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.

And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and he showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of the heaven from God,

having the glory of God; and its radiance was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, being clear as crystal.

Then having a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names inscribed, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel;

on the east three gates, and on the north three gates, and on the south three gates, and on the west three gates.

And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve sent ones of the Lamb.

And the one speaking with me had a golden measuring reed, so that he may measure the city and its gates and its wall.

And the city lies foursquare, and its length is so great, the same as also the width. And he measured the city with the reed at twelve thousand stadia; twelve was the length, and the breadth and its height are equal.

And he measured its wall, one hundred forty four cubits, the measure of man, that is of the messenger.

And the structure of its wall was jasper, and the city clean gold, like clear glass.

And the foundations of the wall of the city adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,

the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.

And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was of one pearl. And the street of the city clean gold, as translucent glass.

And temple I saw not in it; for the Lord God the Almighty is its temple, and the Lamb.

And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon that they may shine in it; for the glory of God enlightened it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

And the nations being saved will walk through its light, and the kings of the land bring the glory and their honor into it.

And its gates certainly will not be shut by day; for night will not be there.

And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.

And certainly there will not enter into it anything unsanctified and the one who practices abomination and a lie, except those written in the book of life of the Lamb.
