Psalms97

Yahweh has become king; let the land rejoice, let the many coastlands be glad.

Cloud and thick dark cloud are round about him; righteousness and justice are the settled place of his throne.

Fire goes before his face and sets ablaze his opponents all around.

His lightning flashes lit up the world; the land saw and writhed.

The mountains dissolved like wax before the face of Yahweh, before the face of the lord of all the land.

The skies told his righteousness, and saw all the peoples his weightiness.

All who serve an idol will be ashamed, those who boast in worthless idols; bow down to him, all you gods.

Zion heard and rejoiced, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced, for the sake of your justice, Yahweh.

For you, Yahweh, are Most High over all the land; exceedingly you are raised up above all gods.

You who love Yahweh, hate evil! He keeps the being of his faithful ones; from the hand of the wicked he rescues them.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Rejoice in Yahweh, you righteous, and give thanks to the remembrance of his holiness.
