Psalms96

Sing to Yahweh a new song; sing to Yahweh, all the land.

Sing to Yahweh, bless his name; bear tidings of his deliverance from day to day.

Recount his weightiness among the nations, his wonders among all the peoples.

For Yahweh is great and to be praised exceedingly; he is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but Yahweh made the skies.

Majesty and splendor are before his face; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Give to Yahweh, you families of the peoples, give to Yahweh weightiness and strength.

Give to Yahweh the weightiness of his name; lift up a grain offering and come to his courts.

Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness; writhe in fear before his face, all the land.

Say among the nations, Yahweh has become king! Yes, the world is established; it will not be shaken. He will judge the peoples with evenness.

Let the skies rejoice and the land be glad; let the sea thunder, and its fullness.

Let the field and all that is in it exult; then all the trees of the forest will ring out with joy,

before the face of Yahweh, for he is coming, for he is coming to judge the land. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with his steadiness.
