Psalms92

A Psalm, a song for the day of the Sabbath.

It is good to give thanks to Yahweh, and to sing praises to your name, Most High;

to tell in the morning of your loyal love, and your steadiness in the nights,

on the ten-string and on the harp, on resounding music with the lyre.

For you made me rejoice, Yahweh, by your work; in the works of your hands I will ring out for joy.

How great your works have become, Yahweh! Exceedingly deep are your thoughts.

A brutish man does not know, and a fool does not understand this.

When the wicked flourish like grass, and all who do wickedness blossom, it is that they be destroyed forever.

And you are on high forever, Yahweh.

For look, your enemies, Yahweh, for look, your enemies will perish; all who do wickedness will be divided.

And you raised up my horn like a wild ox's; I am overflowing with fresh oil.

And my eye has looked on my enemies; my ears hear of those who rise up against me, the evildoers.

The righteous will bud like the palm; like the cedar in Lebanon he will grow.

Planted in the house of Yahweh, in the courts of our God they will bud.

Still they will bear fruit in old age; they will be fat and fresh green.

To tell that Yahweh is upright, my rock, and there is no injustice in him.
