0A Psalm of Asaph.
1God takes his stand in the congregation of God; in the midst of the gods he gives judgment.
2How long will you judge injustice and lift up the face of the wicked? Selah.
3Judge for the poor and the fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and the destitute.
4Help the poor and the needy escape; snatch them from the hand of the wicked.
5They do not know and they do not discern; in darkness they walk about; all the foundations of the land totter.
6I said, You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High.
7Yet like humankind you will die, and like one of the chiefs you will fall.
8Rise up, O God, judge the land, for you will inherit among all the nations.
