In you, Yahweh, I have taken refuge; let me not be ashamed forever.
In your righteousness rescue me and let me escape; bend your ear to me and save me.
Be for me a rock, a dwelling place, where I may always come; you have commanded to save me, for you are my crag and my stronghold.
My God, deliver me from the hand of the wicked, from the palm of the wrongdoer and the harsh.
For you are my hope, Adonai Yahweh, my security from my youth.
On you I have leaned from the womb; from the inward parts of my mother you are the one who cut me out; in you is my praise continually.
Like a portent I have become to many, but you are my refuge of strength.
My mouth is filled with your praise, all day with your splendor.
Do not cast me away in the time of old age; when my strength fails, do not forsake me.
For my enemies have spoken of me, and those who watch for my being have taken counsel together.
saying, 'God has forsaken him; chase and seize him, for there is no one to rescue.'
God, do not be far from me; my God, hasten to my help.
May the accusers of my being be ashamed and come to an end; may those who seek evil against me wrap themselves in reproach and disgrace.
And I will wait continually, and will add to all your praises.
My mouth will recount your righteousness, your deliverance, all the day, for I do not know the numbers.
I will come in the might of Adonai Yahweh; I will call to mind your righteousness, yours alone.
God, you have taught me since my youth, and until now I declare your wonders.
Even until old age and grey hair, God, do not forsake me, until I declare your arm to the generation, to everyone who will come, your might.
And your righteousness, God, reaches up to the height, you who have done great things; God, who is like you?
You who made me see many troubles and miseries will turn back and give me life; from the depths of the land you will turn back and bring me up.
Increase my greatness, and turn about to comfort me.
I also will praise you with the instrument of the harp, for your reliability, my God; I will make music to you with the lyre, O holy one of Israel.
My lips will ring out for joy when I make music to you, and so will my being, which you have ransomed.
My tongue also will murmur your righteousness all the day, for those who seek evil against me are ashamed, yes, they are abashed.
