¹Give to Yahweh, children of God, give to Yahweh weightiness and strength.

²Give to Yahweh the weightiness of his name; bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness.

³The sound of Yahweh is over the waters; the God of weightiness thunders, Yahweh, over great waters.

⁴The sound of Yahweh is in strength; the sound of Yahweh is in splendor.

⁵The sound of Yahweh breaks cedars; Yahweh shatters the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶He makes them skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like the young of wild oxen.

⁷The sound of Yahweh hews out flames of fire.

⁸The sound of Yahweh makes the wilderness writhe; Yahweh makes the wilderness of Kadesh writhe.

⁹The sound of Yahweh makes the does writhe in labor and strips the forests bare; and in his temple, all of it says, "Weightiness!"

¹⁰Yahweh dwelled at the flood, and Yahweh dwells as king forever.

¹¹Yahweh will give strength to his people; Yahweh will bless his people with wholeness.
