Psalms25

Of David.

To you, Yahweh, I lift up my being.

My God, in you I trust; let me not be ashamed; let not my enemies exult over me.

Also, none of those who wait for you will be ashamed; those who betray will be ashamed, empty-handed.

Make your ways known to me, Yahweh; teach me your paths.

Lead me in your faithfulness and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all day.

Remember your compassion, Yahweh, and your loyal love, for they are from forever.

Do not remember the sins of my youth and my transgressions; according to your loyal love remember me yourself, for the sake of your goodness, Yahweh.

Good and upright is Yahweh; therefore he teaches sinners in the way.

He leads the humble in justice and teaches the humble his way.

All the paths of Yahweh are loyal love and faithfulness to those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.

For the sake of your name, Yahweh, forgive my guilt, for it is great.

Who is this man who fears Yahweh? He will teach him in the way he chooses.

His being will lodge in good, and his seed will occupy the land.

The secret of Yahweh is for those who fear him, and his covenant he makes known to them.

My eyes are continually toward Yahweh, for he will bring my feet out of the net.

Turn to me and show me favor, for I am an only child and poor.

The distresses of my heart have widened; from my narrow places bring me out.

See my affliction and my toil, and take away all my sins.

See my enemies, for they have become many, and with violent hatred they hate me.

Keep my being and deliver me; let me not be put to shame, for I have taken refuge in you.

Integrity and uprightness will keep me, for I wait for you, Yahweh.

God, redeem Israel from all his distresses.
