⁰A psalm of David.

¹Yahweh is my shepherd; I do not lack.

²In pastures of grass he makes me lie down; beside waters of rest he leads me gently.

³He brings back my being; he guides me in tracks of righteousness for the sake of his name.

⁴Even though I walk through a valley of deep shadow, I will not fear evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

⁵You arrange a table before me, in front of my opposers; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

⁶Surely good and loyal love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will return to the house of Yahweh for length of days.
