⁰To the choirmaster. A psalm of David.

¹May Yahweh answer you in the day of distress; may the name of the God of Jacob set you on high.

²May he send your help from the holy place, and from Zion may he sustain you.

³May he remember all your grain offerings, and may he find your burnt offering fat. Selah.

⁴May he give you what is in your heart, and fulfill all your counsel.

⁵We will shout for joy at your deliverance, and in the name of our God we raise the banner; may Yahweh fulfill all your requests.

⁶Now I knew that Yahweh saved his anointed; he will answer it from his holiness, from the heavens, in the victory of the salvation of his right.

⁷These in chariotry and those in horses, but we make mention of the name of Yahweh our God.

⁸They crouched and fell, but we rose and have kept upright.

⁹Yahweh, save the king; may he answer us on the day we call out.
