1Praise Yahweh; praise the name of Yahweh; praise, you slaves of Yahweh,
2who stand in the house of Yahweh, in the courts of the house of our God.
3Praise Yahweh, for Yahweh is good; sing praises to his name, for it is lovely.
4For Yahweh chose Jacob for himself, Israel for his treasured possession.
5For I know that Yahweh is great, and our lord is above all gods.
6All that Yahweh delights in he has made, in the skies and on the land, in the seas and all the deeps.
7He brings up mists from the end of the land; he makes lightnings for the rain; he brings the wind out of his storehouses.
8who struck down the firstborn of Egypt, from man to livestock;
9who sent signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his slaves;
10who struck down many nations and killed mighty kings:
11Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
12and gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.
13Yahweh, your name is forever; Yahweh, your memorial is from generation to generation.
14For Yahweh will vindicate his people, and he will have compassion on his slaves.
15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of the hands of man.
16They have mouths, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see;
17they have ears, but they do not give ear; indeed there is no breath in their mouths.
18Like them will be those who make them, everyone who trusts in them.
19House of Israel, bless Yahweh; house of Aaron, bless Yahweh;
20house of Levi, bless Yahweh; you who fear Yahweh, bless Yahweh.
21Blessed be Yahweh from Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise Yahweh.
