The song of the steps.
From the depths I have called out to you, Yahweh.
O Lord, listen to my voice; let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas.
If you keep guilt, O Yahweh, O Lord, who can stand?
For with you is the forgiveness, so that you may be feared.
I wait for Yahweh; my being waits, and for his word I hope.
My being waits for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning, watchmen for the morning.
Wait, O Israel, for Yahweh; for with Yahweh is loyal love, and with him is abundant ransom.
And he will ransom Israel from all his guilt.
