Psalms114

When Israel went out from Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of foreign speech,

Judah became his sacred place, Israel his dominion.

The sea saw it and fled; the Jordan turned backward.

The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like the young of the flock.

What is it to you, sea, that you flee? Jordan, that you turn backward?

Mountains, that you skip like rams? Hills, like the young of the flock?

Writhe, land, at the face of the lord, at the face of the God of Jacob,

who turns the rock into a pool of waters, the flint into a spring of waters.
