Bless Yahweh, my being. Yahweh my God, you have become exceedingly great; you are clothed with majesty and splendor.
wrapping yourself in light like a garment, stretching out the skies like a tent curtain,
who lays the beams of his upper rooms in the waters, who makes the clouds his chariot, who walks on the wings of the wind,
who makes his messengers winds, his servants a flaming fire.
He founded the land upon its settled places; it will not be shaken forever and ever.
The deep, like a garment you covered it; over the mountains the waters stood.
At your rebuke they fled; at the sound of your thunder they hurried away in alarm.
The mountains went up, the valleys went down, to the place that you founded for them.
You set a boundary they will not cross over; they will not return to cover the land.
who sends springs into the wadis; between the mountains they go.
They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild donkeys break their thirst.
Beside them the birds of the skies dwell; from between the branches they give forth a sound.
He waters the mountains from his upper rooms; from the fruit of your works the land is satisfied.
making grass grow for the livestock, and herbs for the labor of humankind, to bring forth food from the land.
and wine that makes glad the heart of humankind, to make faces shine with oil, and bread that sustains the heart of humankind.
The trees of Yahweh are satisfied, the cedars of Lebanon, which he planted,
where the little birds make nests; the stork, the cypresses are her house.
The high mountains are for the mountain goats; the crags are a refuge for the rock-rabbits.
He made the moon for appointed times; the sun knows its setting.
You set darkness, and it becomes night; in it all the beasts of the forest creep.
The young lions roar for prey, seeking their food from God.
The sun rises; they gather themselves in, and into their dens they crouch.
A person goes out to his work, and to his labor until evening.
How many are your works, Yahweh! All of them you made in wisdom; the land is full of your possessions.
This sea, great and wide on either hand; there are creeping things without number, living creatures small together with great.
There the ships go about; Leviathan, which you formed to play in it.
All of them wait for you, to give their food in its time.
You give to them, they gather; you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things.
You hide your face, they are terrified; you withdraw their breath, they die, and to their dust they return.
You send out your breath, they are created; and you renew the face of the ground.
May the weightiness of Yahweh be forever; may Yahweh rejoice in his works.
who looks at the land and it trembles; who touches the mountains and they smoke.
I will sing to Yahweh all my life; I will make music to my God as long as I continue.
May my musing be pleasing to him; I rejoice in Yahweh.
Sinners will perish from the land, and the wicked will be no more. Bless Yahweh, O my being. Praise Yah!
