Proverbs29

A man who is often rebuked yet hardens his neck will suddenly be broken, and there is no healing.

When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when a wicked one rules, the people groan.

A man who loves wisdom makes his father rejoice, but one who keeps company with prostitutes makes wealth vanish.

A king by justice makes the land stand, but a man of contributions tears it down.

A man who smooth-talks his neighbor spreads a net for his feet.

In the transgression of an evil man is a snare, but a righteous one gives a ringing cry and is glad.

A righteous one knows the case of the poor; a wicked one does not understand knowledge.

Men of scorn inflame a town, but the wise turn anger back.

When a wise man goes to judgment with a foolish man, he rages and laughs, and there is no rest.

Men of blood hate the blameless, but the upright seek his being.

A fool brings out all his breath, but a wise one calms it, holding back.

A ruler who pays attention to a word of falsehood, all his servants are wicked.

A poor one and a man of oppressions meet together; Yahweh gives light to the eyes of both of them.

A king who judges the poor in truth, his throne will be established forever.

When there is no vision, a people is let loose, but one who keeps instruction, blessed is he.

By words a slave will not be disciplined, for though he understands, there is no answer.

Have you seen a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

One who pampers his slave from youth, his end will be a thankless one.

A man of anger stirs up conflict, and a lord of rage abounds in transgression.

A person's pride will bring him low, but one lowly of breath will take hold of weightiness.

One who shares with a thief hates his own being; he hears an oath and does not tell.

Trembling before a person sets a snare, but one who trusts in Yahweh will be set on high.

Many are seeking the face of a ruler, but from Yahweh is the justice of a man.

An abomination to the righteous is a man of injustice, and an abomination to the wicked is one straight of way.
