Proverbs16

The arrangements of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from Yahweh.

All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but Yahweh weighs the breaths.

Roll your works to Yahweh, and your thoughts will be established.

Yahweh made everything for its answer, and the wicked also for the day of evil.

Everyone high of heart is Yahweh's abomination; hand to hand, he will not go unpunished.

By loyal love and stability guilt is covered, and by the fear of Yahweh one turns aside from evil.

When Yahweh is pleased with the ways of a man, even his enemies he makes friendly with him.

Better a little with righteousness than a multitude of harvests without justice.

A man's heart reckons his way, but Yahweh establishes his step.

Divination is on the lips of a king; in justice his mouth does not act unfaithfully.

A balance and scales of justice belong to Yahweh; all the stones of the bag are his work.

To do wickedness is an abomination to kings, for by righteousness a throne is established.

The lips of righteousness are the delight of kings, and he loves one who speaks what is upright.

The anger of a king is messengers of death, but a wise man will cover it.

In the light of a king's face is life, and his favor is like a cloud of the spring rain.

To acquire wisdom, how good it is, more than gold; and to acquire understanding is to be chosen over silver.

The highway of the upright is to turn aside from evil; one who guards his way keeps his being.

Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness of breath before a stumbling.

Better to be lowly of breath with the humble than to divide plunder with the arrogant.

One who gives attention to a word will find good, and one who trusts in Yahweh, how blessed is he!

The wise of heart is called discerning, and sweetness of the lips adds instruction.

Insight is a spring of life to its owners, but the discipline of fools is foolishness.

The heart of a wise man makes his mouth act wisely, and adds instruction to his lips.

Words of favor are a honeycomb of honey, sweet to the being and healing to the bone.

There is a way right before the face of a man, but its end is the ways of death.

The being of a laborer labors for him, for his mouth presses on him.

A man of worthlessness digs up evil, and on his lip it is like a scorching fire.

A man of perversities sends out strife, and a whisperer separates a close friend.

A man of violence entices his neighbor, and leads him in a way that is not good.

One who shuts his eyes does so to reckon perverse things; one who purses his lips has accomplished evil.

Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is found in the way of righteousness.

Better one slow of anger than a mighty man, and one who rules his breath than one who captures a city.

In the bosom the lot is thrown, but all its justice is from Yahweh.
