Philippians2

Therefore, if there is any encouragement in the Anointed One, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any inward affection and pity,

fulfill my joy, so that you may be minded the same, having the same love, united in soul, minding the same thing,

Doing nothing out of self-interest or out of vain conceit, but in humility regarding one another as surpassing yourselves;

each one considering not their own interests, but each one also the interests of others.

For keep thinking this among yourselves, which was also in the Anointed One Jesus:

who, being in the form of God, did not regard being equal with God as something to seize upon,

but emptied Himself, having taken the form of a slave, having become in the likeness of men; and having been found in appearance as a man,

He humbled Himself, having become obedient unto death, even the death of the cross;

therefore also God highly exalted Him and granted to Him the name above every name,

that at the name of Jesus every knee may bow, of those in the heavens and those on earth and those under the earth,

and every tongue may confess that Jesus the Anointed One is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Therefore, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

for God is the One who works in you both to will and to work according to His good pleasure.

Do all things without grumbling and disputing,

so that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God, without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

holding out the word of life, as a boast for me on the day of the Anointed One that I did not run in vain nor toil in vain.

But if even I am being poured out on the sacrifice and service of your trust, I am glad and I rejoice with you all;

and likewise also you yourselves be glad and rejoice with me.

Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, so that I too may be encouraged, having come to know the things concerning you;

for I have no one like-minded, who will genuinely care for the things concerning you;

for all of them are seeking their own interests, not those of Jesus the Anointed One;

but you know his proven worth, that like a child to a father, he has served as a slave with me for the good news.

Therefore him indeed I hope to send, when I have seen the things concerning me, immediately;

and I am persuaded in the Lord that I myself also will come soon.

Now I esteemed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, the brother and fellow worker and my fellow soldier, now your messenger and minister of my need;

since he was longing to see you all, and was deeply distressed because you had heard that he was ill.

And indeed he was sick nearly unto death; but God had mercy on him, and not on him alone but also on me, so that I may not have sorrow upon sorrow.

Therefore I have sent him all the more speedily, so that having seen him again you may rejoice, and I myself may be less anxious.

Therefore receive him in the Lord with all joy, and hold such people in honor;

because for the sake of the work of the Anointed One he came near unto death, having disregarded his life, so that he may fill up the deficit of your service toward me.
