Numbers6

Yahweh spoke to Moses saying:

Speak to the children of Israel and say to them: When a man or a woman makes a special vow, to vow the vow of one Consecrated, to set themselves apart to Yahweh,

he shall keep himself separate from wine and strong drink; he shall not drink vinegar of wine or vinegar of strong drink, nor drink any juice of grapes, nor eat grapes, fresh or dried.

All the days of his crown, he shall not eat anything that is made from the vine of the wine, from seeds even to skin.

All the days of the vow of his crown, a razor shall not pass over his head; until the days are filled which he keeps separate for Yahweh, he shall be holy, letting the locks of the hair of his head grow great.

All the days of his being set apart to Yahweh, he shall not go in to a dead being.

For his father and for his mother, for his brother and for his sister, he shall not make himself unclean for them at their death, for the crown of his God is on his head.

All the days of his crown, he is holy to Yahweh.

And if someone dies beside him suddenly, in an instant, and he makes the head of his crown unclean, then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shall shave it.

And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves, or two young ones of a dove, to the priest, to the door of the tent of meeting.

And the priest shall offer one for sin offering and one for a burnt offering, and shall cover over for him, for what he sinned concerning the being; and he shall set apart his head on that day.

And he shall set himself apart to Yahweh for the days of his crown, and shall bring a lamb, a son of its year, as a guilt offering; but the former days shall fall, for his crown became unclean.

And this is the instruction of the Consecrated: on the day the days of his crown are filled, one shall bring him to the door of the tent of meeting,

and he shall bring near his present to Yahweh: one lamb, a son of its year, unblemished, as a burnt offering; and one ewe-lamb, a daughter of her year, unblemished, as a sin offering; and one ram, unblemished, as peace offerings,

and a basket of the unleavened bread, the flour of the cakes let in the oil, and the wafer of the unleavened bread anointed in the oil, and their grain offering and their drink offering.

And the priest shall bring them near before the face of Yahweh, and offer his sin offering and his burnt offering.

And the ram he shall offer as a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh, with the basket of unleavened bread; and the priest shall offer its grain offering and its drink offering.

And the Consecrated shall shave, at the door of the tent of meeting, the head of his crown, and shall take the hair of the head of his crown and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.

And the priest shall take the boiled arm from the ram, and one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and put them on the palms of the Consecrated after he has shaved off his crown.

And the priest shall wave them as a waving before the face of Yahweh; it is a holy thing for the priest, along with the breast of the waving and the thigh of the contribution; and after that the Consecrated may drink wine.

This is the instruction of the Consecrated who vows his present to Yahweh for his crown, apart from what reaches his hand; according to the mouth of his vow which he vows, so he shall do, in addition to the instruction of his crown.

Yahweh spoke to Moses saying:

Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying: Thus you shall bless the children of Israel; say to them:

May Yahweh bless you and keep you;

May Yahweh make his face shine toward you, and show you favor.

May Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and set wholeness for you.

And they will put my name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.
