¹And Eliashib the great priest rose, and his brothers the priests, and they built the gate of the flock. They set it apart and set up its doors; and as far as the tower of the Hundred they set it apart, as far as the tower of Hananel.

²And at his hand the men of Jericho built, and at his hand Zaccur the son of Imri built.

³And the gate of the fish the children of Hassenaah built; they made beams for it, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars.

⁴And at their hand Meremoth the son of Uriah the son of Hakkoz repaired; and at their hand Meshullam the son of Berekiah the son of Meshezabel repaired; and at their hand Zadok the son of Baana repaired.

⁵And at their hand the Tekoites repaired; but their mighty ones did not bring their necks into the service of their lords.

⁶And Joiada the son of Paseah and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah repaired the old gate; they made beams for it, and set up its doors and its bolts and its bars.

⁷And at their hand Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon and Mizpah repaired, up to the throne of the governor of the region beyond the River.

⁸At his hand repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the refiners; and at his hand repaired Hananiah the son of the ointment-makers; and they left Jerusalem as far as the wide wall.

⁹And at their hand repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, official of half the district of Jerusalem.

¹⁰And at their hand repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, and before his house; and at his hand repaired Hattush the son of Hashabneiah.

¹¹A second measure repaired Malkijah the son of Harim and Hasshub the son of Pahath-Moab, and the tower of the fire-pots.

¹²And at his side Shallum the son of Hallohesh, official of half of the district of Jerusalem, repaired, he and his daughters.

¹³The gate of the valley repaired Hanun and those who dwelled in Zanoah; they built it and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars, and a thousand cubits in the wall as far as the gate of the ash-heap.

¹⁴And the gate of the ash-heap repaired Malkijah the son of Rechab, official of the district of Beth Hakkerem; he built it and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars.

¹⁵And the gate of the Spring repaired Shallun the son of Col-Hozeh, official of the district of Mizpah; he built it and roofed it over and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars; and the wall of the pool of the Shelah by the garden of the king, and as far as the steps that go down from the city of David.

¹⁶After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, official of half the district of Beth Zur, as far as before the sepulchres of David, and as far as the pool that was made, and as far as the house of the mighty men.

¹⁷After him repaired the Levites: Rehum the son of Bani. At his hand repaired Hashabiah, official of half the district of Keilah, for his district.

¹⁸After him repaired their brothers, Bavvai the son of Henadad, official of half the district of Keilah.

¹⁹And repaired at his hand Ezer the son of Jeshua, official of Mizpah, a second measure, from before the ascent to the armory at the corner.

²⁰After him Baruch the son of Zaccai burned with zeal and repaired a second measure, from the corner to the door of the house of Eliashib the great priest.

²¹After him repaired Meremoth the son of Uriah the son of Hakkoz a second measure, from the door of the house of Eliashib to the end of the house of Eliashib.

²²And after him repaired the priests, the men of the surrounding region.

²³After him repaired Benjamin and Hasshub before their house; after him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah beside his house.

²⁴After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad a second measure, from the house of Azariah to the buttress and to the corner.

²⁵Palal the son of Uzai, from before the corner and the tower that goes out from the upper house of the king, which is by the court of the guard; after him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.

²⁶And the Nethinim were dwelling on Ophel, as far as before the gate of the waters toward the sunrise, and the tower that goes out.

²⁷After him the Tekoites repaired a second measure, from before the great tower that goes out, and as far as the wall of Ophel.

²⁸From above the gate of the horses the priests repaired, each man before his house.

²⁹After him repaired Zadok the son of Immer before his house; and after him repaired Shemaiah the son of Shecaniah, keeper of the gate of the Sunrise.

³⁰After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, a second measure; after him repaired Meshullam the son of Berekiah before his chamber.

³¹After him repaired Malkijah the son of the goldsmith as far as the house of the Nethinim and the merchants, before the gate of the census, and as far as the roof-chamber of the corner.

³²And between the roof-chamber of the corner and the gate of the flock repaired the refiners and the merchants.
