¹And over those that are sealed: Nehemiah the Tirshatha, the son of Hacaliah, and Zedekiah,

²Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah,

³Pashhur, Amariah, Malkijah,

⁴Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluch,

⁵Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah,

⁶Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch,

⁷Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin,

⁸Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah; these were the priests.

⁹And the Levites: Jeshua the son of Azaniah, Binnui from the children of Henadad, Kadmiel;

¹⁰and their brothers: Shebaniah, Hodiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan,

¹¹Mica, Rehob, Hashabiah,

¹²Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah,

¹³Hodiah, Bani, Beninu.

¹⁴The heads of the people: Parosh, Pahath-moab, Elam, Zattu, Bani,

¹⁵Bunni, Azgad, Bebai,

¹⁶Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin,

¹⁷Ater, Hezekiah, Azzur,

¹⁸Hodiah, Hashum, Bezai,

¹⁹Hariph, Anathoth, Nebai,

²⁰Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir,

²¹Meshezabel, Zadok, Jaddua,

²²Pelatiah, Hanan, Anaiah,

²³Hoshea, Hananiah, Hasshub,

²⁴Hallohesh, Pilha, Shobek,

²⁵Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah,

²⁶and Ahiah, Hanan, Anan,

²⁷Malluch, Harim, Baanah.

²⁸And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the Nethinim, and everyone who has separated from the peoples of the lands to the instruction of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, everyone who knows and understands,

²⁹are holding fast to their brothers, their mighty ones, and are entering into a curse and an oath, to walk in the instruction of God, which was given by the hand of Moses the servant of God, and to keep and to do all the commandments of Yahweh our lord, and his judgments and his statutes;

³⁰and that we will not give our daughters to the peoples of the land, and will not take their daughters for our sons;

³¹And as for the peoples of the land who bring in the wares and any grain on the day of the sabbath to sell, we will not take from them on the sabbath or on a day of holiness; and we will leave the seventh year alone, and the loan on interest of every hand.

³²And we established commandments upon ourselves, to put upon ourselves a third of the shekel each year for the service of the house of our God,

³³for the bread of the row, and the continual grain offering, and for the continual burnt offering, the sabbaths, the new moons, for the appointed times, and for the holy things, and for the sins, to cover over Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.

³⁴And we cast the lots over the offering of wood, the priests, the Levites, and the people, to bring it to the house of our God, to the house of our fathers, at times fixed, year by year, to burn it on the altar of Yahweh our God, as it is written in the instruction;

³⁵and to bring the firstfruits of our ground and the firstfruits of every fruit of every tree, year by year, to the house of Yahweh;

³⁶and the firstborn of our sons and of our livestock, as it is written in the instruction, and the firstborn of our herds and our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, to the priests who serve in the house of our God;

³⁷and the first of our dough, and our contributions, and the fruit of every tree, new wine and fresh oil, we will bring to the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God, and the tenth of our ground to the Levites; and they, the Levites, are the ones who collect the tenth in all the cities of our work.

³⁸And the priest, the son of Aaron, will be with the Levites when the Levites collect the tenth; and the Levites will bring up the tenth of the tenth to the house of our God, into the chambers of the house of the treasury.

³⁹For the children of Israel and the children of Levi will bring the contribution of the grain, the new wine, and the fresh oil to the halls; and there are the articles of the sanctuary, and the priests who serve, and the gatekeepers, and those who sing; and we will not forsake the house of our God.
