And now, to you is the commandment, the priests.
If you will not hear, and if you will not put over the heart to set weightiness to my name, Yahweh of hosts said, I will send in you the curse, and I will curse your blessing; and also I cursed it, for there is none of you putting over the heart.
Behold me rebuking to you the seed, and I will scatter dung over your faces, the dung of your festivals; and it will carry you to it.
And you will know that I sent to you this commandment, for my covenant to be in Levi, Yahweh of hosts said.
My covenant was with him the life and the wholeness, and I set them to him a fear, and he feared me; and from the face of my name he was dismayed.
The instruction of the stability was in his mouth, and injustice was not found in his lips. In the wholeness and in the plateau he went with me, and great ones he returned from the guilt.
For the edge of the priest will keep knowledge, and instruction they will search from his mouth; for he is the messenger of Yahweh of hosts.
But you, you removed from the way; you stumbled great ones in the instruction; you corrupted the covenant of the Levi, Yahweh of hosts said.
And also I set you despised and deep to all the people, as the mouth of which you are not kept my ways, and lifting up faces in the instruction.
Is there not one father to us all? Did not one God create us? Why will we betray, a man in his brother, to profane the covenant of our fathers?
Judah betrayed, and an abomination she made in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah profaned the holiness of Yahweh which he loved, and he married the daughter of a foreign god.
Yahweh will cut to the man who will make it, the one who answers and one who answers, from the tents of Jacob, and one who brings near a grain offering to Yahweh of hosts.
And this second you will make: cover with tears the altar of Yahweh, weeping and groaning, from there being no again turning to the grain offering, and to take pleasure from your hand.
Yet you say, Over what? Over that Yahweh has testified between you and between the woman of your youth, which you betrayed in her, though she is your companion and the woman of your covenant.
And did not one make, and a remnant of the breath to him? And what is the one searching? The seed of God. And you will keep in your breath, and in the woman of your youth do not betray.
For he hated sending, Yahweh said, the God of Israel; and he covered violence over his garment, Yahweh of hosts said. And you will keep in your breath, and you will not betray.
You toiled Yahweh in your words. Yet you say, In what did we toil? In your saying, All one who does evil is good in the eyes of Yahweh, and in them he took delight; or, Where is the God of the justice?
