Leviticus27

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying:

Speak to the children of Israel and say to them: When anyone makes a special vow, by your estimate, of living beings to Yahweh,

Then your estimate of the male, from twenty years old up to sixty years old — your estimate will be fifty shekels of silver, by the shekel of the holy place.

And if it is a female, your estimate will be thirty shekels.

And if from five years old up to twenty years old, your estimate of the male will be twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

And if from a month old up to five years old, your estimate of the male will be five shekels of silver, and for the female your estimate will be three shekels of silver.

And if from sixty years old and upward: if male, your estimate will be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

And if he is too poor for your estimate, he will stand him before the priest, and the priest will estimate him; according to what the hand of the one who vows can reach, the priest will estimate him.

And if it is livestock of which they bring near a present to Yahweh, all that one gives from it to Yahweh will be a sacred thing.

He is not to change it or exchange it, a good one for a bad or a bad one for a good; and if he does exchange livestock for livestock, then it and its substitute will both be a sacred thing.

And if it is any unclean animal, of which people do not bring near a present to Yahweh, then he will stand the animal before the priest.

The priest will estimate it, between good and between bad; according to your estimate, O priest, so it will be.

And if he truly redeems it, he will add its fifth to your estimate.

And when anyone sets apart his house as a sacred thing to Yahweh, then the priest will estimate it, between good and between bad; just as the priest estimates it, so it will stand.

And if the one who sets it apart redeems his house, then he will add a fifth of the silver of your estimate to it, and it will be his.

And if a man sets apart to Yahweh some of the field of his possession, then your estimate will be according to its seed: a homer of barley seed for fifty shekels of silver.

If he sets apart his field from the year of the ram's horn, it will stand at your estimate.

And if after the ram's horn he sets apart his field, the priest will reckon for him the silver according to the years that remain until the year of the ram's horn, and it will be reduced from your estimate.

And if the one who set apart the field truly redeems it, he will add a fifth of the silver of your estimate on top of it, and it will stand as his.

And if he does not redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it will not be redeemed again.

And when it goes out in the ram's horn year, the field will be holiness to Yahweh, like the field of the devoted thing; it will belong to the priest as his possession.

And if he sets apart to Yahweh a field of his purchase, one that is not from the field of his possession,

then the priest will reckon for him the sum of your estimate up to the year of the ram's horn, and he will set your estimate on that day as holiness to Yahweh.

In the year of the ram's horn the field will return to the one from whom he acquired it, to the one to whom the possession of the land belongs.

And every estimate of yours will be by the shekel of the holy place; twenty gerahs will be the shekel.

Only a firstborn that is made firstborn to Yahweh among the livestock, no man may set it apart; whether ox or sheep, it belongs to Yahweh.

And if it is among the unclean livestock, he will ransom it at your estimate and add its fifth on top of it; and if it is not redeemed, it will be sold at your estimate.

Only every devoted thing that a man puts under the ban for Yahweh, from all that is his, from human or livestock or from the field of his possession, will not be sold and will not be redeemed; every devoted thing is the holiness of holinesses to Yahweh.

Every devoted thing that is put under the ban from among humankind will not be ransomed; he will surely be put to death.

And every tenth of the land, from the seed of the land, from the fruit of the tree, it belongs to Yahweh; holiness to Yahweh.

And if a man truly redeems some of his tenth, he will add its fifth on top of it.

And every tenth of cattle and flock, all that passes under the rod, the tenth one will be holiness to Yahweh.

He will not inquire whether it is good or bad, and he will not exchange it; and if he does exchange it, then both it and its substitute will be holiness; it will not be redeemed.

These are the commandments that Yahweh commanded Moses to the children of Israel on the mountain of Sinai.
