Leviticus24

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying:

Command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil, beaten, for the light, to make a lamp go up continually.

Outside the curtain of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, Aaron will arrange it from evening until morning before the face of Yahweh continually — a statute forever to your generations.

On the pure lampstand he will arrange the lamps before the face of Yahweh continually.

And you will take fine flour, and you will bake it into twelve cakes; two tenths will be in each cake.

And you will set them in two rows, six to the row, on the pure table before the face of Yahweh.

And you put over the row frankincense, pure; and it was to the food a memorial, a burnt-offering to Yahweh.

On sabbath day after sabbath day he will arrange it before the face of Yahweh continually, from the children of Israel — a covenant forever.

It will belong to Aaron and his sons, and they will eat it in a holy place, for it is a thing most holy to him, from the fire offerings of Yahweh — a prescribed portion forever.

And a son of an Israelite woman went out — and he was the son of an Egyptian man — in among the children of Israel; and they quarreled in the camp, the son of the Israelite woman and an Israelite man.

And the son of the Israelite woman named the name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. And the name of his mother was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, to the tribe of Dan.

And they laid him down under guard, to declare it clearly to them by the mouth of Yahweh.

And spoke Yahweh to Moses, saying:

Bring out the one who cursed, to the outside of the camp; and all who heard shall lean their hands upon his head, and all the congregation shall stone him.

And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying: Any man who curses his God shall bear his sin.

And one who names the name of Yahweh shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall surely stone him; as the sojourner, so the native-born, when he names the Name, he shall be put to death.

And a man, when he strikes down any living being of humankind, shall surely be put to death.

And one who strikes down the living being of livestock shall repay it, a living being in place of a living being.

And if a man gives a blemish to his fellow, as he has done, so it will be done to him.

Fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; just as he gives a blemish to a person, so it shall be given to him.

And one who strikes down livestock shall repay it, and one who strikes down a human shall be put to death.

One justice shall belong to you; as for the sojourner, so for the native-born it shall be; for I am Yahweh your God.

And Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and they brought the one who had cursed out to the outside of the camp, and stoned him with stones; and the children of Israel did just as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
