Leviticus22

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying:

Speak to Aaron and to his sons, so that they hold themselves apart from the holy things of the children of Israel, and they shall not profane my holy name, which they set apart for me: I am Yahweh.

Say to them, throughout your generations: Any man who comes near of all your seed to the holy things which the children of Israel set apart to Yahweh, while his uncleanness is on him, that being shall be cut off from my face: I am Yahweh.

Any man of the seed of Aaron who is diseased with a serious skin disease or has a flow shall not eat of the holy things until he is clean; and whoever touches anything unclean through a being, or a man from whom goes out a lying of seed,

or a man who touches any swarming thing by which he becomes defiled, or a human being by whom he becomes defiled, whatever his uncleanness may be.

The being who touches it shall be unclean until the evening, and shall not eat of the holy things unless he has washed his flesh in waters.

When the sun goes in, he shall be clean, and afterward he may eat of the holy things, for it is his food.

A carcass or a torn animal he shall not eat, so as to become unclean by it: I am Yahweh.

And they shall keep my charge, and they shall not bear sin on account of it and die by it, if they profane it: I am Yahweh who sets them apart.

And no stranger shall eat a holy thing; a resident alien of a priest, or a hired laborer, shall not eat a holy thing.

And when a priest acquires a being, an acquisition of his silver, he himself may eat of it; and those born in his house, they may eat of his food.

And the daughter of a priest, if she belongs to a stranger man, she shall not eat of the contribution of the holy things.

And the daughter of a priest, if she becomes a widow or one driven out, and she has no seed, and she returns to the house of her father, as in her youth, she may eat of the food of her father; but no stranger shall eat of it.

And if anyone eats a holy thing unintentionally, he shall add its fifth to it and shall give to the priest the holy thing.

And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they lift high to Yahweh,

and so bear them the guilt of guilt in their eating their holiness: I am Yahweh who sets apart them.

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying:

Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the children of Israel, and say to them: Any man of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners in Israel, who presents his offering for any of their vows or for any of their freewill offerings, which they present to Yahweh as a whole burnt offering,

for your acceptance: an unblemished male from the cattle, the young sheep, or the goats.

Anything that has a blemish in it you shall not bring near, for it will not be for your favor.

And when a man brings near a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh, to make a special vow or as a free offering, from the herd or from the flock: unblemished it shall be, for acceptance; no blemish shall be in it.

Blind, or broken, or maimed, or with a running sore, or itching scab, or scurf: these you shall not bring near to Yahweh, and none of them shall you give as a fire offering on the altar to Yahweh.

As for an ox or a sheep with an overlong limb or a stunted one, you may make it a free offering, but for a vow it will not be accepted.

And one squeezed, or crushed, or torn, or cut off you shall not bring near to Yahweh; and in your land you shall not do this.

And from the hand of a son of a foreigner you shall not bring near the food of your God from any of these, for their corruption is in them, a blemish is in them; they will not be accepted for you.

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying:

When an ox, or a lamb, or a she-goat is born, it shall be seven days under its mother; and from the eighth day onward it will be accepted as a present, a fire offering to Yahweh.

An ox or a sheep: it and its young you shall not slaughter in one day.

And when you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to Yahweh, sacrifice it for your acceptance.

On that day it shall be eaten; you shall not leave over any of it until morning: I am Yahweh.

And you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am Yahweh.

And you shall not profane my holy name, and I shall be set apart in the midst of the children of Israel: I am Yahweh who sets you apart,

who brought you out from the land of Egypt, to be God to you: I am Yahweh.
