¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying:

²Speak to the children of Israel and say to them: I am Yahweh your God.

³Like the work of the land of Egypt, in which you dwelt, you shall not do; and like the work of the land of Canaan, to which I am bringing you, you shall not do; and in their statutes you shall not walk.

⁴You shall do my judgments, and you shall keep my statutes, walking in them: I am Yahweh your God.

⁵You shall keep my statutes and my justice; the human who does them will live by them: I am Yahweh.

⁶No man shall draw near to any relative of his flesh to uncover nakedness: I am Yahweh.

⁷You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father and the nakedness of your mother; she is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

⁸You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's wife; it is the nakedness of your father.

⁹As for the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father or the daughter of your mother, whether born in the house or born outside: you shall not uncover their nakedness.

¹⁰As for the nakedness of your son's daughter or your daughter's daughter: you shall not uncover their nakedness, for they are your own nakedness.

¹¹As for the nakedness of the daughter of your father's wife, born to your father, she is your sister; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

¹²You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's sister; she is a relative of your father.

¹³You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister, for she is a relative of your mother.

¹⁴You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's brother; you shall not draw near to his wife; she is your aunt.

¹⁵You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law; she is your son's wife; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

¹⁶You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother's wife; it is the nakedness of your brother.

¹⁷You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter; you shall not take her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter to uncover her nakedness; they are relatives; it is depravity.

¹⁸And you shall not take a woman to her sister, to cause distress, to uncover her nakedness with her, in her lifetime.

¹⁹And you shall not draw near to a woman in the menstrual impurity of her uncleanness to uncover her nakedness.

²⁰And you shall not give your copulation to the wife of your fellow, for seed, to be defiled by her.

²¹And you shall not give any of your seed to cause to pass over to Molech, and you shall not profane the name of your God: I am Yahweh.

²²And you shall not lie with a male as in the beds of a woman; it is an abomination.

²³And you shall not give your copulation to any livestock, to be defiled by it; and a woman shall not stand before livestock to lie down with it: it is perversion.

²⁴Do not defile yourselves by any of these, for by all of these the nations defiled themselves, whom I am sending away from your face.

²⁵And the land became defiled, and I visited its guilt upon it, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.

²⁶And you yourselves shall keep my statutes and my justice, and shall not do any of these abominations, the native-born or the sojourner who sojourns in your midst.

²⁷For the men of the land, who were before you, did all these abominations, and the land became defiled.

²⁸And so that the land will not vomit out you when you defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

²⁹For every one who does any of these abominations—the livings who do them—will be cut off from the midst of their people.

³⁰And you shall keep my duty, so as not to do any of the statutes of the abominations that were done before you, and you shall not defile yourselves by them: I am Yahweh your God.
