Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying:
This will be the instruction of the one stricken with leprosy on the day of his purification: he will be brought to the priest.
And the priest will go out to the outside of the camp, and the priest will see, and look, the plague of leprosy is healed from the one stricken with leprosy.
Then the priest will command, and someone will take, for the one purifying himself, two little birds, living and clean, and wood of cedar, and scarlet of the worm, and hyssop.
And the priest will command, and someone will slaughter the one little bird into a vessel of earthenware over living waters.
He will take the living little bird, and the wood of cedar, and the scarlet of the worm, and the hyssop, and he will dip them and the living little bird in the blood of the little bird that was slaughtered over the living waters.
And he will spatter on the one purifying himself from the leprosy seven times, and declare him pure; and he will let go the living little bird over the face of the field.
And the one purifying himself will wash his garments, and shave off all his hair, and wash in waters, and he will be pure; and after that he will come into the camp, and will dwell outside his tent seven days.
And on the seventh day he will shave off all his hair, his head and his beard and the eyebrows of his eyes, and all his hair he will shave; and he will wash his garments, and wash his flesh in waters, and be pure.
And on the eighth day he will take two unblemished lambs, and one unblemished ewe-lamb a year old, and three tenths of fine flour as a grain offering mixed with oil, and one log of oil.
And the priest who declares pure will set the man who is purifying himself, along with them, to the face of Yahweh, at the door of the tent of the appointed time.
And the priest will take the one lamb and bring it near as a guilt offering, along with the log of the oil; and he will wave them as a wave offering to the face of Yahweh.
And he will slaughter the lamb in the place where the sin offering and the burnt offering are slaughtered, in the holy place; for like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest: it is the holiest of holy things.
And the priest will take some of the blood of the guilt offering, and the priest will put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one purifying himself, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
And the priest will take some of the log of the oil and pour it out on the left palm of the priest.
And the priest will dip his right finger in some of the oil that is on his left palm, and spatter some of the oil with his finger seven times to the face of Yahweh.
And some of the remainder of the oil that is on his palm, the priest will put on the lobe of the right ear of the one purifying himself, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the guilt offering.
And the remainder of the oil that is on the palm of the priest he will put on the head of the one purifying himself; and the priest will cover over him to the face of Yahweh.
And the priest will make the sin offering and cover over the one purifying himself from his uncleanness; and after that he will slaughter the burnt offering.
And the priest will bring up the burnt offering and the grain offering onto the altar, and the priest will cover over him; and he will be clean.
And if he is poor, and his hand does not reach, then he will take one lamb as a guilt offering for a wave offering, to cover over himself, and one tenth of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and a log of oil,
and two ring-doves or two young ones of a dove, whichever his hand can reach; and one will be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.
And he will bring them on the eighth day for his purification to the priest, to the door of the tent of the appointed time, to the face of Yahweh.
And the priest will take the lamb of the guilt offering and the log of the oil, and the priest will wave them as a wave offering to the face of Yahweh.
And he will slaughter the lamb of the guilt offering, and the priest will take from the blood of the guilt offering, and put it over the lobe of the ear of the one purifying himself, the right, and over the thumb of his hand, the right, and over the thumb of his foot, the right.
And the priest will pour out some of the oil on the left palm of the priest.
And the priest will spatter with his right finger some of the oil that is on his left palm seven times to the face of Yahweh.
And the priest will put some of the oil that is on his palm on the lobe of the right ear of the one purifying himself, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the guilt offering.
And the remainder of the oil that is on the palm of the priest he will put on the head of the one purifying himself, to cover over him, to the face of Yahweh.
And he will make the one of the ring-doves, or of the young ones of the dove, from what his hand can reach,
what his hand can reach, the one a sin offering and the other a burnt offering, along with the grain offering; and the priest will cover over the one purifying himself to the face of Yahweh.
This is the instruction of the one in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand does not reach in his purification.
And Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying:
When you come into the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession,
then the one to whom the house belongs will come and will tell the priest, saying: Something like a plague has appeared to me in the house.
And the priest will command, and they will turn out the house before the priest comes to see the plague, so that all that is in the house does not become unclean; and after that the priest will come to see the house.
And he will see the plague, and look: the plague is in the walls of the house, hollows, greenish or reddish, and their appearance is lower than the wall,
then the priest will go out from the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.
And the priest will return on the seventh day and see, and look: the plague has spread in the walls of the house,
Then the priest will command, and they will strip out the stones in which the plague is, and they will throw them outside the city, to an unclean place.
He will have the house scraped on the inside, round about, and they will pour out the dust which they scraped off outside the city, to an unclean place.
And they will take other stones and bring them in place of the stones, and he will take other dust and plaster the house.
And if the plague returns and buds forth in the house, after the stones have been stripped out and after the house has been scraped and after it has been plastered,
Then the priest will come and see: look, the plague has spread in the house. It is a painful leprosy in the house; it is unclean.
He will pull down the house, its stones and its wood, and all the dust of the house, and bring out them, outside the city, to an unclean place.
And whoever goes into the house during all the days he has shut up it will be unclean until evening.
And whoever lies down in the house will wash his garments, and whoever eats in the house will wash his garments.
But if the priest comes and sees: look, the plague has not spread in the house after the house was plastered, then the priest will declare pure the house, because the plague has been healed.
He will take two little birds to purify the house, and cedar wood, and scarlet of the worm, and hyssop.
He will slaughter the one little bird into a vessel of earthenware over living waters.
He will take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet of the worm, and the living little bird, and dip them in the blood of the slaughtered little bird and in the living waters, and spatter it onto the house seven times.
He will purify the house with the blood of the little bird, with the living waters, with the living little bird, with the cedar wood, with the hyssop, and with the scarlet of the worm.
Then he will let go the living little bird outside the city, to the face of the field; and he will cover over the house, and it will be pure.
This is the instruction for every plague of leprosy, and for scurf,
and for the leprosy of the garment, and for the house,
and for the swelling, and for the scab, and for the bright spot,
to teach on the day of the unclean and on the day of the clean: this is the instruction of leprosy.
