Joel3

Behold, in those days and in that time, when I will return the restored captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

I will gather together all the nations, and I will brought down them to the Vale of Jehoshaphat, and I will judge with them there over my people and my inheritance Israel, which they scattered among the nations, and they divided my land.

And over my people they cast a lot, and they set a child for a prostitute, and the girl they sold for wine, and they drank.

And also, what are you to me, O Tyre and Sidon and all the territories of Philistia? Are you repaying me my deserving? And if you are making recompense over me, swiftly, quickly I will return your deserving on your head.

Which my silver and my gold you took, and my precious good things you brought to your temples.

And the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem you sold to the children of the Greeks, for the sake of good them from over their boundary.

Behold, I am awaking them from the place where you sold them, and I will return your deserving on your head.

And I will sell your children and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans, to a nation afar off; for Yahweh has spoken.

Call this out among the nations: Set apart a war, awake the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near and come up.

Crush your plowshares into swords and your pruning-knives into spears; let the weak say, I am a mighty man.

Come and come, all you nations from round about, and gather together there. Yahweh, shatter your mighty men.

The nations will be roused and they will come up to the vale of Jehoshaphat, for there I will dwell to judge all the nations from the round about.

Send out the sickle, for the harvest is ripened; come, make it to rule, for the winepress is filled, the presses overflow; for their evil is great.

Hordes, hordes in the Vale of that which is maimed; for the day of Yahweh is near in the Vale of that which is maimed.

The sun and the moon grew dark, and the stars gathered in their brightness.

And Yahweh will roar from Zion, and from Jerusalem he will give his sound, and the skies and the land shook; but Yahweh is a refuge to his people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.

And you will know that I am Yahweh your God, made to dwell in Zion, the mountain of my holiness; and Jerusalem will be holiness, and foreigners will not pass over in it again.

And it will happen in that day, the mountains will drip new wine, and the hills will go with milk, and all the channels of Judah will go with waters; and a spring from the house of Yahweh will go forth and will water the Wadi of Shittim.

Egypt will be to the wasteland, and Edom will be to the wilderness of the wasteland, from the violence to the children of Judah, in whose land they poured innocent blood.

And Judah will dwell to the forever, and Jerusalem to generation after generation.

And I will leave their blood unpunished that I had not left unpunished; and Yahweh is made to dwell in Zion.
