however Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
Then early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people were coming to him, and when he had sat down, he was teaching them.
Now the scribes and the Pharisees bring to him a woman having been grasped in adultery, and having set her in the midst,
they say to him, testing, Teacher, this woman was grasped in the very act committing adultery;
now in the law Moses commanded us the such to be stoned; therefore you yourself, what say you?
Now this they were saying, testing him, so that they may have grounds to accuse him. But Jesus, when he had stooped down, was writing with his finger on the ground, pretending not.
However as they were continuing asking him, when he had stood up also, he said to them, The one sinless among you, let him first cast the stone at her;
and again being stooped low he was writing on the ground.
And when they had heard, and being convicted by the conscience, they were going away one by one, when he had begun from the elder ones until the last; and he was left alone, Jesus, and the woman standing in the midst.
Then Jesus, having lifted up and having seen no one only the woman, said to her, Woman, where are your accusers? Has no one condemned you?
And she said, No one, Sir. Then Jesus said to her, Neither do I myself condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.
Therefore Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I myself am the light of the world; the one following me myself certainly will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.
Therefore the Pharisees said to him, You yourself are bearing witness concerning yourself; your testimony is not true.
Jesus answered and said to them, Even if I myself shall be bearing witness concerning myself, my testimony is true, because I know from where I came and where I am going; however you yourselves do not know from where I come or where I am going.
You yourselves judge according to the flesh, I myself am judging no one.
And even if I myself shall judge, however, my judgment is true, because I am not alone, but I myself and the Father having sent me.
And also in the law of you it has been written that the testimony of two men is true.
I am the One bearing witness concerning myself, and the Father having sent me bears witness concerning me.
Therefore they were saying to him, Where is your Father? Jesus answered, Neither me you know nor my Father know. If me you had known, then would you have known my Father also.
These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, teaching in the temple, and no one seized him, for his hour had not yet come.
Then Jesus said again to them, I myself am going away, and you will seek me, and in your sin you will die; where I myself go, you yourselves are not able to come.
Therefore the Jews were saying, Surely he will not ever kill himself, for he says, Where I myself go, you yourselves are not able to come?
And he was saying to them, You yourselves are from the below, I myself am from the above; you yourselves are of this world, I myself am not of this world.
Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you shall trust that I am he, you will die in your sins.
Therefore they were saying to him, Who are you yourself? And Jesus said to them, From the beginning that which I am also saying to you.
I have many things to say and to judge concerning you; but the One who had sent me is true, and I myself, what I have heard from him, these things I say to the world.
They understood not that he was speaking to them about the Father.
Therefore Jesus said to them, When you may have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and from myself I do nothing, but even as my Father taught me, these things I speak.
And the One who sent me is with me; the Father has not left me alone, because I myself do always the things pleasing to him.
These things, when he is speaking, many trusted in him.
Therefore Jesus was saying to the Jews having believed in him, If you yourselves shall abide in my word, truly you are my disciples,
and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
They answered unto him, We are seed of Abraham, and to no one have we ever been under bondage; how do you yourself say that, Free you will become?
Jesus answered them, Amen I say to you that everyone who is practicing the sin is a slave of the sin.
Now the slave does not abide in the house forever; but the son abides forever.
Therefore if the Son shall set you free, indeed you will be free.
I know that you are seed of Abraham; but you seek to kill me, because my word receives not a place in you.
Those things which I myself have seen with my Father I speak; you yourselves also therefore do what things you have heard from your father.
They answered and they said to him, Abraham is our father. Jesus says to them, If you are children of Abraham, then would you perform the works of Abraham.
However now you seek to kill me, a man who has spoken to you the truth that I heard from God; this Abraham did not do.
You yourselves are doing the works of your father. Therefore they said to him, We ourselves have not been born of sexual immorality; we have one Father, God.
Therefore Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, then would you be loving me; for I myself came forth from God and am here. For I have not come by myself, but he sent me.
Because of why do you not understand my speech? Because you are not able to hear my word.
You yourselves are of the accuser, the father, and you desire to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and in the truth it has not stood, because truth is not in him. Whenever he may speak the falsehood, from his own he speaks, for he is a liar and its father.
Now because I myself speak the truth, you do not trust me!
Which of you convicts me concerning sin? Now if I speak the truth, because of why do you yourselves not trust me?
He who is of God hears the words of God; because of this you yourselves do not hear, because you are not of God.
Therefore the Jews answered and said to him, Surely we ourselves say rightly that you yourself are a Samaritan and have a demon?
Jesus answered, I myself have not a demon, but I honor my Father, and you yourselves dishonor me.
Now I myself do not seek my glory; there is One seeking it and judging.
Amen I say to you, if anyone shall keep my word, he shall certainly not see death forever.
Therefore the Jews said to him, Now we have known that you have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets, and you yourself say, If anyone shall keep my word, he shall certainly not taste of death forever.
Surely you yourself are not greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died! Whom do you yourself make yourself?
Jesus answered, If I myself shall glorify myself, my glory is nothing; it is my Father who is glorifying me, of whom you yourselves say that he is our God,
and you have not known him, however I myself know him. And if I shall say that I know him not, I will be like you, a liar; but I know him and I keep his word.
Abraham your father rejoiced that he may see my day, and he saw and rejoiced.
Therefore the Jews said to him, You are not yet fifty years old, and you have seen Abraham?
Jesus said to them, Amen I say to you, before Abraham being, I am.
Therefore they took up stones that they might cast at him; however Jesus hid himself and went forth out of the temple, when he had passed through their midst, and he was passing by thus.
