For the sake of Zion I will not hush, and for the sake of Jerusalem I will not be still, until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, and her deliverance like a torch that burns.
And the nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your weightiness; and you will be called by a new name, which the mouth of Yahweh will designate.
And you will be a crown of splendor in the hand of Yahweh, and a turban of royalty in the palm of your God.
It will not be said of you again, 'Forsaken,' and of your land it will not be said again, 'Wasteland'; but you will be called 'My-Delight-Is-in-Her,' and your land 'Married'; for Yahweh delights in you, and your land will be married.
For as a young man marries a virgin, your sons will marry you; and as the exultation of a bridegroom over a bride, your God will rejoice over you.
On your walls, Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; all the day and all the night, continually, they will not hush. You who remind Yahweh, let there be no quiet for you.
And do not give him quiet until he establishes, and until he sets Jerusalem as a praise in the land.
Yahweh swore by his right hand and by the arm of his strength: I will never again give your grain as food to your enemies, and foreigners will not drink your new wine, which you toiled over.
For those who gather it will eat it, and they will praise Yahweh; and those who collect it will drink it in my holy courts.
Pass through, pass through the gates; clear the way for the people. Cast up, cast up the highway; free it of stones; raise high a banner over the peoples.
Look, Yahweh has made it heard to the end of the land: Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Look, your rescue is coming; look, his wages are with him, and his recompense before him.'
They will call them 'The Holy People, the Redeemed of Yahweh'; and you will be called 'Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken.'
