This is what Yahweh said to his anointed, to Cyrus, whom I have taken hold of by his right hand, to subdue nations before him; and I will loosen the loins of kings, to open doors before him, and gates will not be shut:
I will go before you, and the swelling places I will make smooth; the doors of bronze I will break, and the bars of iron I will cut through.
I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places, so that you may know that I am Yahweh, who calls you by your name, the God of Israel.
For the sake of my slave Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I called to you by your name; I gave you a title, though you did not know me.
I am Yahweh, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will gird you, though you did not know me.
so that they may know, from the rising of the sun and from its setting, that there is nothing apart from me: I am Yahweh, and there is no other.
Forming light and creating darkness, making wholeness and creating disaster; I, Yahweh, am doing all these things.
Let the skies drip down from above, and let the clouds flow with righteousness; let the land open wide so that salvation bears fruit, and let it make righteousness sprout together; I, Yahweh, have created it.
Ah, one who contends with the one who formed him, a piece of earthenware among the earthenware of the ground! Will clay say to the one who forms it, 'What are you making?' or your work, 'It has no hands'?
Ah, one who says to a father, 'What are you fathering?' and to a woman, 'What are you in labor with?'
Thus says Yahweh, the holy one of Israel, and the one who formed him: Ask me about the things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands—will you command me?
I made the land, and I created man on it; I—my hands stretched out the skies, and I commanded all their host.
I roused him in righteousness, and I will make all his ways straight; he will build my city and will set my exiles free, not for a price and not for a bribe, says Yahweh of hosts.
Thus says Yahweh: The toil of Egypt and the profit of Cush, and the Sabeans, men of stature, will cross over to you and will be yours; they will walk behind you, they will cross over in fetters; and to you they will bow down, to you they will pray: Only among you is God, and there is no other; there is nothing, no God.
Truly you are a God who hides himself, God of Israel, who saves.
They are ashamed, and also humiliated, all of them; together they go in disgrace, the craftsmen of idols.
Israel has been saved by Yahweh with a deliverance of the ages; you will not be ashamed and you will not be humiliated until forever and ever.
For thus says Yahweh, who created the skies—he is God, who formed the land and made it; he established it; he did not create it shapeless; he formed it for dwelling: I am Yahweh, and there is no other.
I did not speak in secret, in a place of a land of darkness; I did not say to the seed of Jacob, 'Seek me in emptiness.' I am Yahweh, speaking righteousness, declaring what is straight.
Gather together and come, draw near together, refugees of the nations, who do not know—those who carry the wood of their idol and pray to a god who does not save.
Declare and bring it near; also let them take counsel together. Who caused this to be heard from long ago, who declared it from then? Was it not I, Yahweh? And there is no other God apart from me, a righteous God and a savior; there is none besides me.
Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the land, for I am God, and there is no other.
By myself I have sworn; righteousness has gone out of my mouth, a word that will not turn back: surely to me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear.
Only in Yahweh, one will say of me, are righteousness and strength; to him they will come, and all who burn with anger at him will be ashamed.
In Yahweh all the seed of Israel will be in the right, and will boast.
