Isaiah39

At that time Merodach-Baladan son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent documents and a gift to Hezekiah, for he had heard that he had been sick and had grown strong.

Hezekiah was glad about them and showed them his treasure house: the silver, the gold, the spices, the fine oil, all the house of his implements, and all that was found in his storehouses. There was no word that Hezekiah did not show them in his house and in all his realm.

Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and said to him, "What did these men say, and from where do they come to you?" Hezekiah said, "From a land far away they came to me, from Babylon."

He said, "What did they see in your house?" Hezekiah said, "They saw everything that is in my house; there was no word that I did not show them in my storehouses."

Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of Yahweh of hosts:

Look, days are coming, and all that is in your house, and what your fathers have stored up until this day, will be carried off to Babylon; not a word will be left over, says Yahweh.

And some of your sons who will come out from you, whom you will father, will be taken, and they will be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon."

Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "The word of Yahweh that you have spoken is good." And he said, "For there will be wholeness and stability in my days."
