Hebrews1

In many portions and in many ways long ago, God, having spoken to the fathers in the prophets,

in this last of the days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the ages;

who, being the radiance of His glory and the exact expression of His substance, and upholding all things by the word of His power, having made through Himself the purification of our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

having become so much superior to the messengers, as much as the name He has inherited is more excellent beyond theirs.

For to which of the messengers did He ever say: You yourself are My Son, I myself today have begotten You? And again: I will be to Him for a Father, and He himself will be to Me for a Son?

And when again He may bring the Firstborn into the world, He says: And let all the messengers of God worship Him.

And as to the messengers indeed He says: The One who makes His messengers winds and His ministers a flame of fire;

but unto the Son: Your throne, O God, is to the age of the age, and the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; because of this God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of exultation above Your companions.

And You yourself in the beginning, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are works of Your hands;

they themselves will perish, but You yourself remain; and all, like a garment, will grow old,

and like a robe You will roll them up, like a garment also they will be changed; but You yourself are the same, and Your years will never end.

Now to which of the messengers has He ever said: Sit at My right hand until I place Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet?

Are they not all ministering spirits, being sent forth for service for the sake of those being about to inherit salvation?
