Genesis6

And it came about that humankind began to grow numerous on the face of the ground, and daughters were born to them.

The sons of God saw that the daughters of mankind were pleasing, and they took wives for themselves from all whom they chose.

And Yahweh said, My breath will not remain in humankind forever, since even he is flesh; and his days will be a hundred and twenty years.

The Nephilim were on the land in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of mankind and they bore children for them. They were the mighty men who of old were men of reputation.

And Yahweh saw that the evil of humankind in the land was great, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all day long.

And Yahweh was sorry that he had made humankind on the land, and was pained in his heart.

And Yahweh said, I will wipe out humankind, whom I created, from over the face of the ground, from humankind to livestock, to creeping things, and to the bird of the skies, for I am sorry that I made them.

And Noah found favor in the eyes of Yahweh.

These are the accounts of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, whole in his generations; Noah walked about with God.

And Noah fathered three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

And the land was marred before the face of God, and the land was filled with violence.

And God saw the land, and look, it was marred, for all flesh had ruined its way upon the land.

And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come before my face, for the land is full of violence because of them; and look, I am about to ruin them along with the land.

Make yourself an ark of gopher wood; you will make the ark with nest-cells, and you will cover it from the inside and from the outside with pitch.

And this is how you will make it: the length of the ark: three hundred cubits; its breadth: fifty cubits; and its height: thirty cubits.

You will make a window for the ark, and finish it to a cubit from above; and you will set the door of the ark in its side; you will make it with lower, second, and third levels.

And I, look, I am bringing the flood of waters over the land, to ruin all flesh in which there is the breath of life from under the skies; everything that is in the land will expire.

And I will set up my covenant with you; and you will come into the ark, you and your sons and your wife and the wives of your sons with you.

And of every living thing, of all flesh, two of each you will bring into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they will be male and female.

Of the bird by its kind, and of the livestock by its kind, of every creeping thing of the ground by its kind, two of each will come to you, to be kept alive.

And you, take for yourself some of all food that is eaten, and gather it to yourself; and it will be for you and for them as food.

And Noah did according to all that God commanded him; so he did.
