And Abraham again took a wife, and her name was Keturah.
And she bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah.
And Jokshan fathered Sheba and Dedan; and the children of Dedan were the Asshurites, the Letushites, and the Leummites.
And the children of Midian: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
And Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac.
And to the children of the concubines who belonged to Abraham, Abraham gave gifts; and he sent them away from his son Isaac while he was still alive, eastward, to the land of the east.
And these are the days of the years of the life of Abraham which he lived: a hundred years, and seventy years, and five years.
And Abraham breathed out and died in a good old age, old and satisfied; and he was gathered to his people.
And Isaac and Ishmael his sons interred him to the cavern of Makpelah, to the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is over the face of Mamre,
the field that Abraham acquired from the children of Heth; there Abraham was buried, and Sarah his wife.
And it happened after the death of Abraham that God blessed Isaac his son; and Isaac dwelled near Beer-lahai-roi.
And these are the accounts of Ishmael, the son of Abraham, whom Hagar the Egyptian, the female slave of Sarah, bore to Abraham.
And these are the names of the children of Ishmael, by their names, according to their accounts: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
and Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,
Hadad, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah.
These are the children of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their courts and by their encampments: twelve princes, by their tribes.
And these are the years of the life of Ishmael: a hundred years, and thirty years, and seven years; and he breathed out and died, and was gathered to his people.
And they settled from Havilah as far as Shur, which faces Egypt, toward Asshur; facing all his brothers he lay.
And these are the accounts of Isaac, the son of Abraham: Abraham fathered Isaac.
And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramite, from Paddan Aram, the sister of Laban the Aramite, for himself as a wife.
And Isaac prayed to Yahweh on behalf of his wife, for she was barren; and Yahweh responded to his prayer, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
And the children thrust against one another within her; and she said, "If it is so, why am I like this?" And she went to consult Yahweh.
And Yahweh said to her, "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples will part from your inward parts; one people will be stronger than the other people, and the great one will serve the little one."
And her days of giving birth were filled, and behold, twins were in her womb.
And the first went forth all ruddy, like a mantle of hair; and they called his name Esau.
And after that, his brother went forth, with his hand holding the heel of Esau; and he called his name Jacob. And Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them.
And the boys grew up; and Esau was a man who knew hunting, a man of the field; and Jacob was a blameless man, dwelling in tents.
And Isaac loved Esau, for game was in his mouth; and Rebekah loved Jacob.
And Jacob boiled a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was exhausted.
And Esau said to Jacob, Let me, from the red, this red, for I am exhausted; over so they called his name Edom.
And Jacob said, "Sell me this day your right of the firstborn."
And Esau said, "Look, I am going to die; so what is this right of the firstborn to me?"
And Jacob said, "Swear to me this day." And he swore to him, and he sold his right of the firstborn to Jacob.
And Jacob gave Esau bread and a stew of lentils; and he ate and drank, and rose and went; and Esau despised the right of the firstborn.
