O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you, not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus the Anointed One was publicly portrayed among you as crucified?
This only I wish to learn from you: did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law, or by hearing of trust?
Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being perfected in the flesh?
Did you suffer so many things in vain? — if indeed even in vain!
Therefore, the One supplying the Spirit to you and working miracles among you, is it out of works of the Law, or out of hearing of trust?
Even as Abraham trusted in God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.
Then know that those of trust, these are sons of Abraham.
Then the Scripture, having foreseen that God justifies the nations by trust, foretold the gospel to Abraham, that in you will be blessed all the nations.
So then those of trust are blessed along with the believing Abraham.
For as many as are of works of the Law are under a curse; for it has been written that cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the Law, to do them.
Now that by the law no one is justified before God is evident, because the righteous will live by trust;
and the Law is not of trust, rather, the one who did these things, the man, will live by them.
The Anointed One redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us; since it has been written: Cursed is everyone who is hanging on a tree;
so that to the nations the blessing of Abraham may become in the Anointed One Jesus, so that we may receive the promise of the Spirit through the trust.
Brothers, I am speaking according to man. Even of a man, a ratified covenant no one sets aside or adds thereto.
And to Abraham were spoken the promises, and to his seed. It does not say, and to seeds, as of many, but as of One, and to your seed, who is the Anointed One.
Now this I say: the covenant confirmed beforehand by God into the Anointed One, the law having come four hundred and thirty years afterward does not annul, so as to nullify the promise.
For if the inheritance is by the Law, it is no longer by a promise; but to Abraham through a promise God has granted it.
Then why the Law? Because of the transgressions it was added, until the seed may have come to whom promise has been made, having been ordained through messengers in the hand of a mediator.
However, a mediator of one person is not, but God is one.
Therefore is the Law contrary to the promises of God? Never would it be! For if a law was given which is able to impart life, indeed the righteousness then would be emerging from the law;
but the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, so that the promise by the faithfulness of Jesus the Anointed One may be given to those believing.
Now before the trust came, we were held in custody under the Law, being locked up until the trust which is soon to be revealed.
so that the Law has become our trainer unto the Anointed One, so that we may be justified by trust;
now when the trust came, we are no longer under a trainer.
For you are all sons of God through the trust in the Anointed One Jesus;
for as many as were immersed into the Anointed One, you have put on the Anointed One.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male and female; for you yourselves are all one in the Anointed One Jesus.
Now if you yourselves are the Anointed One's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
