¹And these are the names of the tribes: from the end of the north, to the side of the road of Hethlon, as one comes to Hamath, Hazar-enan, the boundary of Damascus northward, to the side of Hamath; and the east corner, the sea, will be his: Dan, one.

²And beside the boundary of Dan, from the east corner to the seaward corner: Asher, one.

³And beside the boundary of Asher, from the east corner to the seaward corner: Naphtali, one.

⁴And beside the boundary of Naphtali, from the east corner to the seaward corner: Manasseh, one.

⁵And beside the boundary of Manasseh, from the east corner to the seaward corner: Ephraim, one.

⁶And beside the boundary of Ephraim, from the east corner to the seaward corner: Reuben, one.

⁷And beside the boundary of Reuben, from the east corner to the seaward corner: Judah, one.

⁸And beside the boundary of Judah, from the east corner to the seaward corner, will be the contribution that you will offer up: twenty-five thousand in breadth, and in length like one of the portions, from the east corner to the seaward corner; and the sanctuary will be in the middle of it.

⁹The contribution that you will offer up to Yahweh: twenty-five thousand in length and ten thousand in breadth.

¹⁰And for these will be the holy contribution for the priests: on the north twenty-five thousand, and on the seaward side ten thousand in breadth, and on the east ten thousand in breadth, and on the south twenty-five thousand in length; and the sanctuary of Yahweh will be in the middle of it.

¹¹For the priests, those set apart from the sons of Zadok, who kept my duty, who did not wander when the children of Israel wandered, as the Levites wandered.

¹²And a special contribution will belong to them, from the contribution of the land, a most holy place, beside the boundary of the Levites.

¹³And the Levites, alongside the boundary of the priests: twenty-five thousand in length and ten thousand in breadth; the whole length is twenty-five thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.

¹⁴And they will not sell any of it, nor will one exchange it, nor will one pass on the first of the land; for it is a holy place to Yahweh.

¹⁵And the five thousand that remain in the breadth, along the face of the twenty-five thousand, it is common, for the city, for dwelling and for open land; and the city will be in the middle of it.

¹⁶And these are its measurements: the north side, four thousand five hundred, and the south side, four thousand five hundred, and from the east side, four thousand five hundred, and the sea side, four thousand five hundred.

¹⁷And the open land will belong to the city: to the north, two hundred fifty, and to the south, two hundred fifty, and to the east, two hundred fifty, and to the sea, two hundred fifty.

¹⁸And the remainder in the length, alongside the holy contribution: ten thousand eastward and ten thousand to the sea; it will lie alongside the holy contribution, and its produce will become food for those who serve the city.

¹⁹And those who serve the city will serve it from all the tribes of Israel.

²⁰All the contribution is twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand; as a fourth you will offer up the holy contribution, in addition to the possession of the city.

²¹And the remainder belongs to the prince, on this side and on that side of the holy contribution and of the possession of the city, along the face of the twenty-five thousand of the contribution as far as the boundary eastward, and to the sea along the face of the twenty-five thousand as far as the boundary of the sea, alongside the portions for the prince; and the holy contribution will be and the sanctuary of the house in the middle of it.

²²And from the possession of the Levites and from the possession of the city, which are in the middle of what belongs to the prince, between the boundary of Judah and the boundary of Benjamin, it will belong to the prince.

²³And the rest of the tribes: from the east side as far as the sea side: Benjamin, one.

²⁴And next to the boundary of Benjamin, from the east side as far as the sea side: Simeon, one.

²⁵And next to the boundary of Simeon, from the east side as far as the sea side: Issachar, one.

²⁶And next to the boundary of Issachar, from the east side as far as the sea side: Zebulun, one.

²⁷And next to the boundary of Zebulun, from the east side as far as the sea side: Gad, one.

²⁸And next to the boundary of Gad, toward the south side, southward, the boundary will run from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, the wadi, as far as the great sea.

²⁹This is the land that you will cast lots for as an inheritance for the tribes of Israel, and these are their divisions, the utterance of the Adonai Yahweh.

³⁰And these are the outer limits of the city: from the north side, four thousand five hundred by measure.

³¹And the gates of the city are after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates to the north: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one.

³²And toward the east side, four thousand five hundred, and three gates: the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one.

³³And the south side, four thousand five hundred by measure, and three gates: the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one.

³⁴The sea side, four thousand five hundred, their gates three: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one.

³⁵All around, eighteen thousand; and the name of the city from the day: Yahweh is there.
