Ezekiel46

Thus says the Adonai Yahweh: The gate of the inner court that faces east will be shut the six days of work, but on the day of the sabbath it will be opened, and on the day of the new moon it will be opened.

The prince will come in by way of the porch of the gate from outside and stand by the doorposts of the gate, and the priests will make his burnt offering and his peace offerings; then he will bow down at the threshold of the gate and go out. But the gate will not be shut until evening.

And the people of the land will bow down at the entrance of that gate on the sabbaths and on the new moons, before the face of Yahweh.

The burnt offering that the prince will bring near to Yahweh on the day of the sabbath: six unblemished lambs and an unblemished ram.

And the grain offering: an ephah for the ram, and for the lambs a grain offering, the gift of his hand, and oil, a hin for each ephah.

And on the day of the new moon: a young bull, a son of the herd, unblemished, and six lambs and a ram; they will be unblemished.

And an ephah for the bull and an ephah for the ram he will make as the grain offering, and for the lambs as much as his hand can reach, and oil, a hin for each ephah.

And when the prince comes in, he will come by way of the porch of the gate, and by that same way he will go out.

And when the people of the land come before the face of Yahweh at the appointed times, whoever enters by way of the gate of the north to bow down will go out by way of the gate of the south, and whoever enters by way of the gate of the south will go out by way of the gate of the north. He will not return by way of the gate that he came in by, but will go out straight opposite it.

And the prince will be in their midst: when they come in, he will come in, and when they go out, they will go out.

And at the festivals and at the appointed times the grain offering will be an ephah for the bull and an ephah for the ram, and for the lambs the gift of his hand, and oil, a hin for each ephah.

And if the prince makes a free offering, a burnt offering or peace offerings as a free offering to Yahweh, then the gate that faces east will be opened for him, and he will make his burnt offering and his peace offerings as he makes them on the day of the sabbath; then he will go out, and the gate will be shut after he has gone out.

And a lamb a year old, unblemished, you will make as a burnt offering each day to Yahweh; morning by morning you will make it.

And you will make a grain offering with it morning by morning: a sixth of an ephah, and oil, a third of a hin, to moisten the fine flour, a grain offering to Yahweh as a statute forever, continually.

They will make the lamb, the grain offering, and the oil morning by morning as a continual burnt offering.

Thus says the Adonai Yahweh: If the prince gives a gift to any man among his sons, it is his inheritance; to his sons it will belong; it is their holding by inheritance.

And if he gives a gift from his inheritance to one of his slaves, it will belong to him until the year of liberty; then it will return to the prince. Only his inheritance, that of his sons, will belong to them.

And the prince will not take any of the inheritance of the people, maltreating them out of their holdings; from his own holding he will bequeath to his sons, so that my people will not be scattered, each man from his holding.

Then he brought me by the entrance that was at the shoulder of the gate to the holy chambers for the priests, those that face north; and behold, a place was there at the far flanks, toward the sea.

He said to me: This is the place where the priests boil the guilt offering and the sin offering, and where they bake the grain offering, so as not to bring them out into the outer court and set apart the people as holy.

Then he brought me out to the outer court and made me pass over to the four corners of the court; and behold, a court was in the corner of the court, a court in the corner of the court.

In the four corners of the court were enclosed courts, forty long and thirty wide; one measure for all four of them, set in the corners.

And a row of stones was round about within them, round about all four of them, and cooking hearths were made beneath the walls round about.

He said to me: This is the house of the cooks, where those who serve the house boil the sacrifice of the people.
