Ezekiel42

Then he brought me out to the outer court, along the road, in the direction of the north; and he brought me to the hall that was opposite the separated area, and that was opposite the building toward the north.

At the face of the length of the hundred cubits was the doorway of the north, and the breadth was fifty cubits.

Opposite the twenty cubits that belonged to the inner court, and opposite the pavement that belonged to the outer court, gallery was at the face of gallery on the third level.

And at the face of the halls was a walk of ten cubits in breadth, toward the inner court, a way of one cubit; and their doorways were toward the north.

And the upper halls were short, for the galleries ate into them, more than into the lower ones and the middle ones of the building.

For they were divided into three parts, and there were no columns for them like the columns of the courts; therefore it was withdrawn, more than the lower ones and the middle ones, starting from the land.

And the wall that was on the outside, alongside the halls, toward the outer court, at the face of the halls, its length was fifty cubits.

For the length of the halls that belonged to the outer court was fifty cubits; and see, on the face of the temple, it was a hundred cubits.

And beneath these halls was the way that brings one in from the east, when one comes to them from the outer court.

In the breadth of the wall of the court, eastward, facing the separated area and facing the structure, were halls.

And a way lay before them, like the look of the halls that were toward the north; like their length, so was their breadth; and all their exits, and like their justice, and like their doors.

And like the doors of the halls that were toward the south was a door at the head of the way, the way in front of the matching wall, toward the east, as one enters them.

Then he said to me, The halls of the north and the halls of the south, which face the separated area, they are the halls of the holy place, where the priests who are near to Yahweh will eat the most holy things there; and there they will lay down the most holy things, the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, for the place is holy.

When they enter, the priests must not go out from the holy place into the outer court, but there they will lay down their garments in which they serve, for they are holy; they will put on other garments and approach what is for the people.

When he had finished the measurements of the inner house, he brought me out by way of the gate that faced toward the east, and he measured it all around.

He measured the wind of the east with the measuring reed: five hundred reeds, by the measuring reed, all around.

He measured the breath of the north: five hundred reeds, by the measuring reed, all around.

He measured the breath of the south: five hundred reeds, by the measuring reed.

He turned to the breath of the sea and measured five hundred reeds by the measuring reed.

He measured it on the four winds. It had a wall all around: the length five hundred, and the breadth five hundred, to separate between the holy and the common.
