And the word of Yahweh came to me, saying:
Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince who is head of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him.
And say, Thus says the Adonai Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince who is head of Meshech and Tubal.
And I will turn you around, and I will put hooks in your cheeks, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them splendidly clothed, a great company, with large shield and small shield, all of them wielding swords.
Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet.
Gomer and all its troops, the house of Togarmah, the flanks of the north, and all its troops, many peoples with you.
Be ready, and make ready for yourself, you and all your company who have assembled with you, and be a guard to them.
After many days you will be visited; at the end of the years, you will come into a land restored from the sword, gathered from many peoples onto the mountains of Israel, which had become a continual ruin; and it was brought out from the peoples; and all of them are dwelling in security.
And you will go up; like a storm you will come; like a cloud to cover the land you will be — you, and all your troops, and many peoples with you.
Like this the Adonai Yahweh said: On that day words will come up in your heart, and you will reckon an evil plan.
And you will say, I will go up against the land of open hamlets; I will come upon the quiet ones, who dwell in security, all of them dwelling without a wall, with neither bar nor doors for them.
to seize plunder and take spoil, to turn your hand against the ruins now inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and possessions, who dwell at the navel of the land.
Sheba and Dedan, and the traders of Tarshish, with all its young lions, will say to you, "Have you come to seize plunder? Have you assembled your company to take spoil, to carry off silver and gold, to take livestock and possessions, to seize great plunder?"
Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog: Like this the Adonai Yahweh said: On that day, when my people Israel dwell in security, will you not know it?
And you will come from your place, from the far flanks of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding horses, a great company and a vast army.
You will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land. In the latter end of the days it will be that I bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me, when I am set apart in you before their eyes, O Gog.
Like this the Adonai Yahweh said: Are you the one of whom I spoke in ancient days by the hand of my slaves the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days, for years, that I would bring you against them?
And it will be on that day, on the day Gog comes against the ground of Israel, the utterance of the Adonai Yahweh, that my rage will rise in my anger.
And in my jealousy, in the fire of my wrath, I have spoken: Surely on that day there will be a great earthquake on the ground of Israel.
And the fish of the sea, the birds of the skies, the animals of the field, every creeping thing that creeps on the ground, and every human who is on the face of the ground will shake before my face; and the mountains will be thrown down, and the cliffs will fall, and every wall will fall to the land.
And I will call a sword against him on all my mountains, the utterance of the Adonai Yahweh; the sword of each man will be against his brother.
And I will go to judgment with him by plague and by blood; and I will rain a flooding rain, and hailstones, fire, and sulfur, upon him, and upon his troops, and upon the many peoples who are with him.
And I will become great, and set myself apart, and make myself known before the eyes of many nations; and they will know that I am Yahweh.
