Ezekiel37

The hand of Yahweh was on me, and he brought me out by the breath of Yahweh and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones.

And he made me pass by them all around, all around; and behold, there were many very on the face of the valley, and behold, they were very dry.

And he said to me, Son of man, will these bones live? And I said, O Adonai Yahweh, you know.

And he said to me, Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, Dry bones, hear the word of Yahweh.

Thus says the Adonai Yahweh to these bones: Look, I am bringing breath into you, and you will live.

I will put sinews on you, and bring up flesh over you, and spread skin over you, and put breath in you, and you will live; and you will know that I am Yahweh.

And I prophesied as I was commanded; and there was a sound as I prophesied, and behold, a quaking, and the bones drew near, bone to its bone.

And I saw, and behold, sinews and flesh came up over them, and skin covered over them from above; but there was no breath in them.

And he said to me, Prophesy to the wind; prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus says the Adonai Yahweh: From the four winds, come, O wind, and blow into these who were killed, so that they may live.

And I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, a very, very great army.

And he said to me, Son of man, these bones, they are all the house of Israel. Behold, they are saying, Our bones have dried up, and our hope has perished; we are cut off.

Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Adonai Yahweh: Behold, I am opening wide your graves, and I will bring you up out of your graves, my people, and I will bring you into the ground of Israel.

And you will know that I am Yahweh, when I open wide your graves, and when I bring you up out of your graves, my people.

And I will put my breath in you, and you will live, and I will settle you on your ground; and you will know that I, Yahweh, have spoken, and I will do it — the utterance of Yahweh.

And the word of Yahweh came to me, saying:

And you, son of man, take for yourself one stick, and write on it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel, his companions; and take another stick, and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel, his companions.

And bring them near, one to the other, for yourself into one stick, so that they become one in your hand.

And when the children of your people say to you, saying, Will you not tell us what these are to you?

Speak to them, Thus says the Adonai Yahweh: Behold, I am taking the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions, and I will set them on it, on the stick of Judah, and I will make them into one stick, and they will be one in my hand.

And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.

And speak to them, Thus says the Adonai Yahweh: Behold, I am taking the children of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from all around, and I will bring them into their own ground.

And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king over all of them; and they will no longer be two nations, and they will not again be divided into two kingdoms any more.

And they will no longer make themselves unclean with their idols, and with their detested things, and with all their transgressions; and I will save them from all their dwelling places in which they sinned, and I will cleanse them; and they will be my people, and I will be God to them.

And my slave David will be king over them, and one shepherd will be for all of them; and they will walk in my justice, and they will keep my statutes and do them.

And they will dwell on the land that I gave to my slave, to Jacob, in which your fathers dwelt; and they will dwell on it, they and their children, and the children of their children, forever; and David my slave will be prince to them forever.

And I will cut a covenant of wholeness for them; it will be a covenant forever with them; and I will set them, and I will multiply them, and I will put my sanctuary in their midst forever.

And my dwelling place will be over them; and I will be God to them, and they will be my people.

And the nations will know that I, Yahweh, am setting Israel apart, when my sanctuary is in their midst forever.
