Exodus31

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying:

See, I have called by name Bezalel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,

and I have filled him with the breath of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge, and with all workmanship,

to devise designs, to make things in gold, in silver, and in bronze,

and in the skilled working of stone for filling in, and in the skilled working of wood, to make every kind of workmanship.

And I, see, I have set with him Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the heart of every wise-hearted person I have put wisdom, so that they make everything that I have commanded you:

the tent of the appointed time, and the ark of the testimony, and the atonement cover that is over it, and all the articles of the tent,

and the table and its articles, and the clean lampstand and all its articles, and the altar of incense,

and the altar of the burnt offering and all its articles, and the basin and its base,

and the garments of braided work, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to serve as priests,

and the anointing oil, and the incense of aromatic spices for the holy place; they will make everything just as I have commanded you.

Yahweh said to Moses, saying:

And you, speak to the children of Israel, saying: Only my sabbaths you must keep, for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, so that you may know that I, Yahweh, am the one who sets you apart.

You must keep the sabbath, for it is holy to you. Those who profane it will surely be put to death; for anyone who does work on it, that being will be cut off from the midst of her people.

For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day is a sabbath of sabbath observance, holy to Yahweh; anyone who does work on the day of the sabbath will surely be put to death.

And the children of Israel will keep the sabbath, celebrating the sabbath throughout their generations as a covenant forever.

Between me and the children of Israel it is a sign forever; for in six days Yahweh made the skies and the land, and on the seventh day he ceased and took breath.

And he gave to Moses, when he finished speaking with him on the mountain of Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God.
