Ecclesiastes11

Send your food over the face of the waters, for in the multitude of the days you will find it.

Give a portion to seven, and also to eight, for you do not know what evil will be upon the land.

If the clouds are filled with rain upon the land, they pour out; and if a tree falls in the south, or if in the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it will be.

One who watches for the wind will not sow, and one who looks at the clouds will not harvest.

Just as you do not know what the way of the breath is, like the bones in the womb of the full one, thus you will not know the work of God who makes all.

In the morning sow your seed, and at evening do not let your hand rest, for you do not know where this will succeed, this or that, or whether both as one will be good.

And sweet is the light, and good for the eyes to see the sun.

For if the man lives many years, let him rejoice in all of them; and let him remember the days of darkness, for they will be many. All that has come is vapor.

Rejoice, young man, in your youth, and let your heart be well with you, in the days of your youth; and walk in the ways of your heart and in the sight of your eyes; and know that for all these things God will bring you into justice.

And remove vexation from your heart, and make evil pass from your flesh; for youth and the dawn of life are vapor.
