And it will be, when all these words come upon you, the blessing and the curse that I have set before your face, and you bring it back to your heart among all the nations where Yahweh your God has banished you,
and you return to Yahweh your God and hear his voice, according to all that I am commanding you this day, you and your sons, with all your heart and with all your being.
Then Yahweh your God will turn back your captivity and have compassion on you, and he will again gather you from all the peoples where Yahweh your God has scattered you.
If your banished one is at the end of the skies, from there Yahweh your God will gather you, and from there he will take you.
And Yahweh your God will bring you to the land that your fathers occupied, and you will occupy it; he will do well with you and multiply you more than your fathers.
And Yahweh your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, to love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your being, for the sake of your life.
And Yahweh your God will set all these oaths upon your enemies and upon those who hate you, who ran after you.
And you will return and hear the voice of Yahweh, and do all his commandments that I am commanding you this day.
And Yahweh your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your womb, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, for good; for Yahweh will again rejoice over you for good, as he rejoiced over your fathers,
if you hear the voice of Yahweh your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes that are written in this record of the instruction, if you return to Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your being.
For this commandment that I am commanding you this day, it is not too wondrous for you, and it is not far away.
It is not in the skies, saying: Who will go up for us to the skies and take it for us, and make us hear it, so that we may do it?
And it is not beyond the sea, saying: Who will pass over for us to the other side of the sea and take it for us, and make us hear it, so that we may do it?
For the word is very near to you, in your mouth and in your heart, to do it.
See, I have set before your face this day the life and the good, and the death and the evil,
If you hear the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I am commanding you this day, by loving Yahweh your God, by walking in his ways, and keeping his commandments, his statutes, and his justice, then you will live and multiply, and Yahweh your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to occupy it.
But if your heart turns away and you do not hear, and you are driven astray and bow down to other gods and serve them,
I tell you this day that you will surely perish; you will not prolong your days on the ground where you are crossing the Jordan to enter and occupy it.
I call as witnesses against you this day the skies and the land: I have set before your face the life and the death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life, so that you may live, you and your seed,
to love Yahweh your God, to hear his voice, and to cleave to him, for he is your life and the length of your days, to dwell on the ground that Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give it to them.
