Deuteronomy22

You will not see the ox of your brother or his sheep straying and hide yourself from them; you will surely return them to your brother.

And if your brother is not near you, and you do not know him, then you gather it into the middle of your house, and it will be with you until your brother seeks it, and you return it to him.

So you will do with his donkey, and so you will do with his garment, and so you will do with every lost thing of your brother that is lost from him and you find it; you will not be able to hide yourself.

You will not see the donkey of your brother or his ox fallen on the way and hide yourself from them; you will surely raise them up with him.

A man's articles will not be on a woman, and a man will not wear a woman's garment; for everyone who does these things is an abomination to Yahweh your God.

If a little bird's nest comes unexpectedly before you along the way, in any tree or on the land, with chicks or eggs, and the mother is crouching on the chicks or on the eggs, you will not take the mother with the young.

You will surely send away the mother, and the young you may take for yourself, so that it may go well with you and you may lengthen your days.

When you build a new house, you will make a parapet for your roof, and you will not put bloodshed in your house if the one who falls should fall from it.

You will not sow your vineyard with two kinds, lest the full produce be set apart: the seed that you sow, and the yield of the vineyard.

You will not plow with an ox and a donkey together.

You will not wear mixed stuff, wool and linen together.

You will make tassels for yourself on the four wings of your covering, with which you cover yourself.

When a man takes a wife and goes in to her and hates her,

and lays wanton deeds against her in words, and brings out a bad name over her, and says, 'This woman I took, and I drew near to her, and I did not find tokens of virginity in her,'

then the father of the young woman and her mother took, and brought forth the virginity of the young woman to the elders of the city the gate.

And the father of the girl says to the elders, 'My daughter I gave to this man as a wife, and he hated her,'

And look, he has laid charges of words, saying, 'I did not find virginity in your daughter; and these are my daughter's tokens of virginity.' And they will spread out the garment before the face of the elders of the city.

And the elders of that city will take the man and discipline him.

And they will fine him a hundred in silver and give it to the father of the girl, because he brought out a bad name against a virgin of Israel; and she will be his wife, and he cannot send her away all his days.

And if this word was sure, and virginity was not found in the girl,

then they will bring out the girl to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city will stone her with stones, and she will die, because she has done an outrage in Israel by acting as a prostitute in her father's house; and you will remove the evil from your midst.

If a man is found lying with a woman who is married to a husband, then both of them will die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman; and you will remove the evil from Israel.

If there is a girl, a virgin, betrothed to a man, and a man finds her in the city and lies with her,

then you will bring out both of them to the gate of that city, and you will stone them with stones, and they will die: the girl, over the word that she did not cry for help in the city, and the man, over the word that he humbled his neighbor's wife; and you will remove the evil from your midst.

But if in the field the man finds the girl who is betrothed, and the man takes hold of her and lies with her, then the man who lay with her will die, he alone.

And to the girl you will do no word; there is no sin of death for the girl. For just as a man rises against his neighbor and murders him, a living being, so is this word.

For in the field he found her; the girl who was betrothed cried for help, and there was no deliverer for her.

If a man finds a girl, a virgin, who is not betrothed, and seizes her and lies with her, and they are found,

then the man who lay with her will give fifty in silver to the father of the girl, and she will be his wife, because he humbled her; he cannot send her away all his days.

A man will not take his father's wife, and will not uncover his father's wing.
