2 Thessalonians1

1Paul and Silvanus and Timothy, to the assembly of the Thessalonians in God our Father and in the Lord Jesus the Anointed One:

2Favor to you and wholeness from God our Father and the Lord Jesus the Anointed One.

3We ought to thank God always concerning you, brothers, as it is fitting, because your trust is increasing exceedingly and the love of each one of all of you toward one another is abounding;

4so that we ourselves greatly boast about you in the assemblies of God, about your perseverance and trust in all your persecutions and in the tribulations that you are bearing,

5this is a plain token of the righteous judgment of God, unto your being accounted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which also you suffer;

6if indeed it is righteous with God to repay with affliction those oppressing you,

7and to you, those being oppressed, repose with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his mighty messengers

8in a fire of flame, inflicting vengeance on those not knowing God and on those not obeying the good news of our Lord Jesus the Anointed One;

9who will suffer the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power,

10when He may come to be glorified in his holy ones and to be marveled at among all those who believed, because our testimony to you was trusted in that day.

11for which also we pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling and may fulfill every good pleasure of goodness and work of trust with power,

12so that the name of our Lord Jesus the Anointed One may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the favor of our God and the Lord Jesus the Anointed One.
