For we know that if our earthly house, the tent, shall be destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
And indeed in this we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling which is from heaven,
if even, when we had put it off, we will be found not naked.
For we who are in the tent groan, being burdened, not because we wish to be unclothed but to be clothed, that the mortal may be swallowed up by the life.
Now the One having prepared us for this very thing is God, having also given to us the pledge of the Spirit.
Therefore being always confident and knowing that, being at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord—
for we walk through trust, not through sight—
now we are confident and we are pleased rather to be absent out of the body and to be at home with the Lord.
Therefore also we are ambitious, whether being at home or being away, to be well-pleasing to Him.
For it behooves us all to be revealed before the judgment seat of the Anointed One, that each may receive back the things done in the body according to what he did, whether good or evil.
Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, and we have been made manifest to God; now I hope also to have been made manifest in your consciences.
For we are not again commending ourselves to you, but are giving to you occasion of boasting on our behalf, so that you may have an answer toward those boasting in appearance and not in the heart.
For if we are crazy, it is for God; or if we are sober-minded, it is for you.
For the selfless love of the Anointed One compels us, having concluded this: that if One died for all, then all died;
and He died for all, that those living may no longer live to themselves but to the One having died and been raised again for them.
Therefore we ourselves from now on know no one according to the flesh; now if even we have regarded the Anointed One according to flesh, yet now we no longer regard Him thus.
Therefore if anyone is in the Anointed One, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away, behold, the all things have come into being new.
And all things are of God, the One who, having reconciled us to Himself through Jesus the Anointed One, also having given to us the ministry of reconciliation,
For how God was in the Anointed One reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning their trespasses to them, and having put into us the word of reconciliation.
Therefore we are ambassadors for the Anointed One, as though God is beseeching through us; we implore on behalf of the Anointed One: be reconciled to God.
For He made Him, the One not having known sin, to be sin for us, so that we ourselves may become the righteousness of God in Him.
