2 Chronicles4

1And he made an altar of bronze, twenty cubits in length, twenty cubits in breadth, and ten cubits in height.

2And he made the sea, cast, ten cubits from lip to lip, round all about, and five cubits its height; and a line of thirty cubits would circle it all around.

3And the likeness of oxen was under it, round about, going around it, ten to the cubit, encircling the sea all around; there were two rows of cattle, cast in its casting.

4It stood on twelve oxen: three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing the sunrise, with the sea set upon them from above, and all their hindquarters toward the inside.

5And its thickness was a handbreadth, and its lip was like the work of the lip of a cup, a blossom of a lily; it held baths, it could contain three thousand.

6And he made ten basins, and set five on the right and five on the left, to wash in them; the work of the burnt offering they rinsed in them, and the sea was for washing by the priests in it.

7And he made ten lampstands of gold according to the justice laid down for them, and set them in the temple, five on the right and five on the left.

8And he made ten tables and set them down in the temple, five on the right and five on the left; and he made a hundred bowls of gold.

9And he made the court of the priests, and the great enclosure, and doors for the enclosure, and their doors he overlaid with bronze.

10And the sea he set at the right shoulder, eastward, in front of the south.

11And Huram made the pots and the shovels and the bowls; and Huram finished doing the work that he made for King Solomon in the house of God:

12Two pillars, and the bowls, and the capitals on the head of the two pillars, and two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the head of the pillars;

13and four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the face of the pillars;

14And he made the stands, and he made the basins on the stands;

15the one sea, and the twelve cattle under it.

16And the pots and the shovels and the forks, and all their utensils, Huram Abi made for King Solomon, for the house of Yahweh, of scoured bronze.

17In the region of the Jordan the king cast them, in the thick ground between Succoth and Zeredah.

18And Solomon made all these utensils in exceeding abundance, so that the weight of the bronze was not found out.

19And Solomon made all the utensils that were in the house of God: the altar of gold, and the tables, and on them the bread of the face;

20and the lampstands and their lamps, to kindle them as prescribed before the innermost room, of closed-up gold;

21and the blossom and the lamps and the snuffers, gold — it was the completeness of gold;

22and the snuffers and the bowls and the dishes and the fire-pans, of closed-up gold; and the entrance of the house, its inner doors to the most holy place, and the doors of the house to the temple, of gold.
